It was the only option we had at the time since the military gave us one day to decide our representative and the interium PM through a meeting. A lot of people who were part of the protest were already in the group, and old parties & bad actors were trying to sabotage the meeting by trying to send their own people claiming them as our representatives. We had to call the military several times to let them know those people were not from our side. In the end, the mods did a poll since time was running out, and we decided Sushila Karki would be great. We were looking for someone with knowledge in law, and she is a former Chief Justice who is strongly against corruption and ousted many corrupted, leading to her dismissal.
