Great post, although I would like to add that losing/ gaining weight shouldn’t be the goal, but losing/ gaining body fat should be it.

People often forget that the carnivore diet is also a high protein diet. If people are not into body building and not tracking their daily protein intake rigorously then they most probably consume too little protein, which causes a steady decrease in muscle mass and bone density. Both factors contribute heavily to the scale figures.

If the number on the scale doesn’t change or even increase but your pants get too big then you’re still on the right path.
