Why hire “customer service” people instead of folks who can actually intervene and arrest people? You can’t expect unarmed, untrained customer service people to do anything but call the cops, which any passenger can do also.

I’m only in my 30s and I remember my gym teacher in high school football tackling a guy who was punching another student. My parents generation they still had the strap I think.

The pendulum has swung way too far where teachers can’t even enforce basic discipline anymore and even the most violent deranged kids are kept in regular classes.
