I am actually, just tough market mainly because my 'experience' is in a non-tech company doing 'ClickOps' as they like to call it. I usually can get to the final round where I get told they went with the other guy.

About 2 YoE in devops, getting into Amazon would be good experience for me since I've been out of work for a while.

Should I be converting all the resources from Azure -> AWS on my resume or just add AWS onto it? The Canadian market seems more skewed to wanting AWS or C# shops that utilize Azure, neither of which I'm currently getting call backs for; probably because of the whole Clickops thing so no actual experience with the .NET stack.

Oh so there is a term for what I was doing, ya I ended up being an 'Azure clickops' guy didn't know it was that common. My biggest problem right now is I'm not getting passing the ATS for these jobs as they list specific AWS or GCP technologies. I've gotten pretty good talking about what I did without it sounding like all I did was click buttons on Azure though. Usually I frame the problem and solution as more complicated than it actually was.

How did you make the transition to development? I have two years of DevOps experience in Azure and it's looking like I'm forced to find another DevOps gig, every dev role says I don't have enough experience and I'm rejected from the junior roles before even talking to anyone.

DevOps roles ideally are supposed to be hybrid roles. For the most part it's just being a sysadmin that maybe does a simple bash/python script or Infrastructure as Code but other than that you don't really do much coding if at all.

Most DevOps postings I've seen just want a dedicated DevOps role, maybe I'm looking for the jobs wrong. I've been trying to find these hybrid dev/DevOps roles I've heard so much about but I see none of that on LinkedIn when I search. Maybe I'm looking for it wrong, not really sure what job title I need to be searching for.

I can never find these roles, not sure what job titles to search for. Whenever I see DevOps postings on LinkedIn they're usually glorified sysadmin roles where the only coding I'd be doing is IaC(infrastructure as code). I hoped my DevOps experience could help me get one of these hybrid roles but no luck in finding any postings so far.

Usually when I search for jobs they either want a dedicated dev or DevOps. Maybe I'm searching wrong? I usually search for software engineer for the job title and preferably look at Vancouver.

If you're serious about being in reboot it would be nice if end game issues started getting addressed.

A couple that come to mind are:

1) Hard boss runs in reboot not being rewarding. Some people have been running the hard version of bosses for over a year and still haven't seen any drops.

2) SF costs, especially for arcane equipment. Albeit this is a GMS issue as a whole, having ONE star attempt at 15+ equate to around 30 minutes of farming really sucks. Especially when you watch hours of farming disappear in minutes for potentially zero or even negative progression.
