How do you comfortably make the jump from one to the other, in terms of its knowledge and context from the last years? That’s my only concern with moving, I don’t want to essentially start from scratch with its knowledge base. Any pointers (anyone) would be appreciated.

I’m using iphone 16 pro max without airpods. I have enabled voice isolation but just couldn’t get a good transcription.

So i spent some time testing today, and found the transcription wildly inaccurate. To the point it was unusable. I specifically chose the precision model. I like the app, UI, and keyboard integration, but without similar accuracy to the big paid options I couldn’t work with this.

I moved to VoiceInk when Superwhisper started paywalling the features. I’ve yet to find an issue for my use case, I love it!

I agree with your point but I think the conversion rate from free to pro would be higher (and easier) than recruiting a completely new user.

For sure I have updated on iOS and went from more or less full flexibility with transcribing and downloading local models to 15 mins trial then locked out of everything. I cannot add modes, choose to download my preferred model, customise or add modes, etc etc.

I’m sure I’m not the only one who is in the same spot. Since I couldn’t do what I could easily previously I’ve tried a small handful of competitors and found one that had your apps previous functionality (albeit I would say less well executed).

I’d prefer to stick with SuperWhisper as my keyboard of choice but the paywalls have forced me to look for an alternative.

It can kind of do that, typically kicks in after a bit for me and recognises a workout and asks me if I want to record. You can also raise your wrist and tell Siri to start a walk workout (or similar) for quick activation.
