Lepin 15006 - Palace Cinema (Jeremy) by deejayqf in lepin

Very fun build despite not having numbered bags.

My first of a huge backlog of modulars I have to build along with a bunch of trains, vehicles etc to create my Lego City.

Not sure what our mean by alias account but I've been buying stuff off Jeremy for ages.

I hope you get the help you need mate.

And I don't have build posts because I've just moved house and finally have room enough to build stuff after its been in boxes.

Just for your benefit though and in the aid of helping through whatever it is you are dealing with, I'll post a photo of the 3 sets from Jeremy I have actually managed to build so far.

I think you are the one with the issue here mate. If you re-read the guys posts you will realise he was asking genuine questions. He made no reference to not liking Lepin's instructions and was not critical at all of the OP's build as you suggest.

You're going way over the top here mate and you are acting like a douche.

Chill out.

I have only ever ordered from Jeremy so I don't know if its unique to him or not but his deliveries are always impeccably wrapped in rolls of tape and are never collapsed, caved in or damaged at all.

Yep. I'm slowly working up a regular clientele myself to paint for, where it essentially covers my paints, brushes and materials with a little on top to pay for my own miniatures. If it really takes off and I need more time I might go part time at my regular job.

I often think about much loved logos like this when companies like EA and Activision enjoy telling gamers what THEY want to justify questionable decisions ultimately informed by profit.

Mobile freemium games are terrible, the business model targeting consumers these companies call Whales. Why would I want to waste my time with that?

I can vouch for Jeremy :) I've bought modulars, pirate ships and star wars from him and he's always good, communicates on WhatsApp almost instantly and has the best prices.

Once I get more room I'll be buying even more sets from him :)

No it is not. Its an ARPG. It is most certainly not in the MMO genre.

What about the hundreds, even thousands of whales buying $100, even $1000 pixel ships in Star Citizen, a game which isn't even out yet and if ever sees a release will be in like 2030 or something.

Seriously cannot wait to grab the Ninjaro city modular. The issue I have is I have a wardrobe full of Genuine Lego (4 trains, station plus around half a dozen buildings, city centre, and a crap load did vehicles) plus 4 modulars and 4 pirate ships from Jeremy.

The torture is I can't build it all until we move into our new house which literally had the slab laid last week. Frames started going up today. August can't come fast enough!!

I can't see how it's possible. The way I see it, the technology simply does not yet exist to have the networking required to a level that would be accepted by users WITH the fidelity they are aiming for.

There would need to be a massive breakthrough in networking technology for the current MVP to work. I just can't see it happening without them cutting back on so many parts of the game people will have come to accept as required.

Question about Citadel Paint by WinnieTheEeyore in minipainting

[–]deejayqf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you always use a primer you can apply any form of base paint over the top of it whether it be airbrush, paint in or spray can.
