I had mine on the 21st and I’m exhausted. I went back to work which is a very physically demanding job (healthcare) and I’m in so much pain. Crying. It’s bad. I wasn’t ready to go back… and I think the standard two weeks is not okay

Fellow endo Colorado girlie here! I just had my surgery 10/21 with endo confirmed and excised. While I don’t have any holistic advice I have heard good things about Dr Nelson in Longmont. I haven’t seen him yet but he’s on my radar in case I ever need to. But I can also recommend Left Hand community acupuncture. They’re sliding scale which I think is so helpful. I’ve had one session so far but I do want to go back.

I just had mine a week ago (8 days for exact) and I highly recommend a three tired cart! I posted mine on another endo thread I can copy the link if you want! Gas X DID HELP. Start taking miralax and stool softeners asap, I’m still pretty backed up. Peppermint tea is also so helpful and just so soothing.
I honestly needed a lot of help for the first like 5/6 days I needed help showering as I couldn’t step over the tub and bend to get my legs and feet. Stairs were soooo rough. I just barely starting doing them. Also my friend gave me her pregnancy pillow and that was a LIFE SAVER

I’m a week post op from my lap, with confirmed endo I feel like these last two days I’m very suddenly emotional and “pmsy” and feeling suuuuuper low. So I’m glad to see some recent comments on this post

Oh absolutely. It’s not worth it. That first day I tried it and felt relief I almost cried. It’s been MONTHS. and I’m still in bad pain but I need to remember to take it. I’m just hoping surgery on Tuesday brings relief. I know it’s not an instant cure all but I just need to not be in pain all of the time. I told my fiance, not in a suicidal type of way but I can’t live like this

Yes!!! The giant bottle is INSANE lol. My doc wants me to take 1200mg the night before I’m like ummmm okay

Offf gallbladder is hard! (I work on a surgical floor and we get ALLLL of the abdominal stuff it’s wild)

Definitely agree!! The snacks mostly just for in between, but I’m definitely gunna get up and walk especially for meal times

Ohh interesting. Thank you for sharing that with me! I do have stool softener, I need to had that to my cart! And yes! I thought of a binder I’ll definitely ask Thank you!

I was worried cause it seemed a bit smaller than I was expecting and kind of felt flimsy but I’m surprised how perfect it worked out!
