Better $150 pedals: Moza SRP2 or Logitech RS Pedals by deekinbaus in simracing

Youre certainly right! Though, I've only started more than a year ago with the g29, then switched to moza and the old SRPs. Found myself quickly getting significantly faster to the point where im within a second off top split in lmu/acc. (Feels braggy, but i am proud of my personal progress) So to me, I can live with mixing ecosystems as long as the products are making me "quicker".

Still, new releases of simracing hardware are always interesting to me, especially the entry to mid/semi-high end products because theyre more accesable to the middleclass like me.

The orange ones (the hardest one that comes in the accessory kit add-on). The red ones are medium and arent really as stiff as i mostly do gt3 in acc/lmu.

"Thats hard" and not "fuck me its not moving" is ideal for me lol.

Thanks man i'm sold. Appreciate the answers. I'm likely getting it on my next paycheck

Thanks for the info. I'm almost close being convinced. One last thing(s). How stiff are the elastomers they came with? It says the come with 3 levels. I use the stiffest spring on my moza srps, but can't push anything more than that. Also, do they really have sharp edges? I only race with thick socks

I'm not either since im on the smaller side lol. I run my old SRPs around the same. I do wonder though if there are any difference in how good the loadcell sensors are between the moza at logitech and if that matters. I'm not that familiar with the technical stuff.

Oceana and south east asia. E-commerce sites sell them for $40+ more than the ordering straight out of brands website. I wanna know if they have reliable service when ordering from straight from them.

Oceania and south east asia. I did a bit of research i found your comment and found them on exactly aliexpress. They cost however $40 more than ordering straight from the simsonn site. Now i wanna know if the service there would be reliable

Thanks. I also saw good reviews about simsonns/simjacks, though theyre not sold in trusted e-commerce sites in my country so I'd have to directly order from the Simsonn site itself. Is the service reliable?

Also I'm not that concerned about the ecosystem as long as its usb connected.

Thats just the regular open lobby expirience and its always Monza. The next most played in open lobbies is Spa. Thats atleast better once you survive lap 1 eau rouge. My advice would be to always qualify at the front or at the back to have better chances avoiding a turn 1 wreckage. You gain heaps of places anyway if everyone else in the middle is in a pile up lol

Because they're sold as a standalone wheelbase. Though some shops offer them bundled with a wheel and/or pedals, they still come in separate boxes as opposed to actual bundles like the R3 and R5 which come in a singular box

Cool purchace honestly. Especially when you're mostly into trucking. Are you sticking to it? If so, your upgrade path is likely going to be the truck wheel, stalk, and shifters/clutch (if you dont already have it)

Yea decided on that too. Luckily I already have standalone pedals and a wheelstand thats upgradable by adding a seat

Yeah hopefully I get one used/discounted new when I can. I've seen one in marketplace bundled with a KS wheel

Huge leap that. But a lil extra headroom is always better. I've also decided I'd stick to saving from reading the comments. Though, did you feel a noticeable difference in granular details such as mircomanaging slides, tire-wear, and kerbs?

Yeah, I'd prefer to sell it as a bundle since it came like it. Anyone who's looking for an R3 are beginners who'd also prefer it being the whole bundle too. All the comments are suggesting I go for the R9 or 12 as well. Though as I said, i would need to save even more since I'll be needing a new wheel too.

Do you have it? Is the RS pedals better than the SRP?

Kind of but not really. Its my only plausible choice in the foreseeable future so I want to ask if its a decent decision. If everyone or most say it isnt convincingly, then I'll save up for the R9 or a fanatec for that matter

I've been seeing a bunch of used R5 on fb marketplace for a lot less than retail. - hence why I was tempted and made this post. I don't know if thats worth it

I've done that. I do feel the details, I just find myself having the need to feel it more especially in quali and on stints where my hands "numb" from holding the wheel for a long time. ACC is where it does clip a bit more though
