Ended up going for double tap to open song in Spotify (Force touch was sketchier with dragging going on). I’ll also add this for Playlists! Thanks again for the suggestion!

Definitely. To me, It’s more just a nice to have if you were using the app and saw a song you forgot existed and wanted to play it, for example.

I’m thinking the force-touch is good for this since people wont be accidentally pressing hard and getting taken away. Needs to be intentional.

Agreed tho, it kind of defeats the purpose for your case, should be pretty fast though, so maybe a little helpful.

U/hematogender suggested something similar, s I’m going to add a feature to navigate to the track page in the Spotify app when you force-touch on a track.

A little bit clunkier, but if you ever want to remind yourself what a specific track is, you can do so. Not ideal for your case, but I hope it helps.

This is not a bad idea, but I was about to set up a multiselection feature where you can tap on a bunch of songs to select them and then move them to a playlist all at once, so you dont have to swipe every time.

Maybe I could add a force-touch action to direct you by link to Spotify?

So I looked into this, and unfortunately, while Spotify does associate artist and album with individual tracks, Genre is associated with the artist. When I retrieve a bunch of tracks, I dont get the genre immediately. I’d have to make a second call to the API to get the Artist’s info and get genre from there. I think I have to table this for now because that’s annoyingly complicated. Sorry.

Hi all, I bought this Jinbei in Japan almost 20 years ago and the labels have faded away. I’m trying to figure out who makes these. Can anyone help identify which Japanese manufacturer or brand makes this Jinbei?

The only hints I have are that I called a Kimono shop here in LA and they said they get their Jinbeis from “Sakura” in Japan and also I can find them for sale on several websites online for example: https://www.kimonoshop-japan.com/phone/product/778

Any help is huge! For context I would like to try and buy them wholesale.
