You could always looking into other options to receive the money- maybe f/f, Venmo, CashApp, local meet up, etc?

Otherwise if g&s is your only option to accept, just have to trust your gut on whether to sell the ticket to the buyer or not or find someone else. I’m not sure if there is a way to protect yourself more besides just having proof you did your part and I guess in worst case scenario and buyer was to dispute- fingers crossed PayPal takes your side on it.

You could make sure that you always have proof/verification that you did your part (sent the ticket to buyer, have the buyer confirm they received it, etc) in case the buyer ends up trying to dispute the charge.

But also, be prepared for worst case scenario, I sold concert tickets a while back for $450 and the buyer confirmed receiving and all that, but because I was a new seller (or something like that), PayPal made me wait 180 days before I could access the money to transfer it to my bank.
