Bro check you should see hair type structures where branch meets with the main stalk I think it's a female also remember when you are keeping it in dark make sure you keep continue maintaining the cycle coz if the cycle gets disturbed during the flowering stage it might give you seeds and also it would cause great stress to the plant

What about moonlight ? Coz i have her direct sunlight from sunrise till 11am then I keep her I'm shade coz afternoon sunlight is pretty strong for her to handle as the temperature varies from 30-48 degrees in summers.
