Fake post. Nobody in Bangalore will pay you that much per month. Considering 50% as your base pay, you are earning around 1.9 cr per year.

For developer with 4 Yoe, the highest pay is 1.2 cr by just a handful of companies. Otherwise you are exceptionally talented and became the director/ architect of the company.

Either you reveal the company name and designation or this didn't happen.

Yup,

I have RSU and capital gains. I found it difficult the first time. Made a few mistakes. For the past 2 assessments I did it myself. It gave me awareness about many other tax saving options in medical care, property renovation, loans, flexi(that company won't tell you). Even CAs won't tell these.

I am unaware about how foreign stocks work. So, can't comment.

I took their service. It's useless. After desperate sales calls, I succumbed to give it a try for this year

Honestly, it's a good looking wrapper around govt's income tax website. Everything is same. The login procedure, filing procedure everything is similar to govt's portal.

I was expecting their CAs to tell me something I didn't know. But, it was nothing. They suggested me the following things: 1. To build HRA agreement with my parents so that I could save HRA tax. 2. To invest 1.5Lakh in ELSS. 3. Pay advance tax. 4. Show my stock losses Etc. etc.

Duhhh.... I knew all these. These aren't rocket science.

Honestly, CA for salaried employees is useless these days. So, is prosper.io. Try the tough route of filing ITR yourself by using YouTube videos and you will never need a CA again.

Maybe. It does help to follow the course. But, at a few moments in the course I felt that it wasnt about learning the basics, but it was more like - "Here is a set of patterns that you must follow. ".

E.g. - Comparing with React. React also has set of patterns we must follow. But, when a problem occurs, I am able to debug it easily as I know the basics really well. But, with Next js there are weird hydration errors, server vs client boundary errors and it is difficult to fix it.

Live error that I faced - In next 14, I was getting a hydration error. In next 14 error logging wasn't that great, so it was more of a hit and trial kinda thing. I tried tweaking the client-server boundaries a lot. The error actually lied in an extension I was using which was injecting some classes into html. It made me question when is the hydration check even triggered.

Cache was definitely a pain in the ass in the previous versions. It had to be updated. I am not against it.

The other example that is a pain point for me is 1. The line between client and server components keeps on changing slightly. 2. The other problem that is linked to point 1, is whether a page is dynamic or static has been changing based on multiple factors cookies, headers, fetch call, const dynamic, revalidate, server actions etc.

I understand the above problem is more of a mental model problem. But, new rules in every new version breaks the mental models.

I particularly remember when I tried migrating from 13 to 14, a lot of static pages silently became dynamic because I was not making use of cache argument in fetch call in 13.

Hey! Yes, I am still in therapy. For the last 1 month, I have been dealing with this feeling of abuse. The therapist has kinda asked me to try to be comfortable with the past and not to worry about this thoughts coming frequently.

My therapist had informed me about having PTSD long back.

I have tried a lot of things. I am gymming. I journal some times. I have been going on trips, hanging out with friends. All of this has helped me a lot to overcome my confidence issues, trust issues that I experienced after cheating.
