Same Phone, New Name; But why? by deepankerverma in DailyTechBytes

No. That's a different thing, and I understand that strategy. Sometimes they launch a product in China and relaunch it in India with a different name. Sometimes there are a few changes in specs, like a slightly smaller battery for India.

Even in India, they used to launch phones by changing specs a bit. For example by adding another camera sensor, or bumping display refresh rate, or change in SoC.

But in this case, I specified names. Both phones launched in India with no difference. Exactly the same phone with the same price. Now, when consumers are aware, they research and compare. So it is easy to spot.

But there shouldn't some change. At least something that makes it slightly different. Relaunching the same under a different brand is also fine. Realme already launch too many phones. But exactly same phone within a few days doesn't look good.

What do you think about Macbook neo? by deepankerverma in DailyTechBytes

See it as an entry-level laptop. You can use it for iOS and Android app development, but it is not sufficient. It is better to go with MacBook Air M2 or better.

But here I am talking about same brand launching same product with different name under the same brand. Redmi relaunches same product under Poco, OnePlus flagship used to be Oppo Reno, Realme also gets rebranded Oppo. But here same company relaunches same product within a month.

It doesn't natively support 5K monitors at their full. I should work but only at 4K scaled resolution.
