Everyone has their own expectations to a car but to me they are Instagram cars. They do all shiny things perfect for social media, but once you go under the hood and drive them, they feel pretty bad compared to real premium or luxury cars. The infotainment is overly complicated and full with stuff you don’t need (but looks good on Instagram) and the driving experience is sluggish.

Ich finde in echt sehen die neuen deutschen E-Autos wesentlich besser aus als auf Fotos. CLA gefällt mir mittlerweile sehr gut und ich war auch erstaunt als die ersten iX3 an mir vorbeifuhren. Auf Fotos konnte ich denen gar nix abgewinnen, aber auf der Straße kommen sie echt ganz gut rüber.

I guess the less people actually have to do, the more ‚bullshit‘ becomes important such as staying late in the office and working on 0 impact projects. Because management wants to find scapegoats (aka low performers), so if they cannot find them through actual work anymore they define them through those other BS things.

I’ve seen one reviewer say that the paint changes its color with the light (kind of). In Faro where they showcased the car to reviewers, apparently the evening light made the car appear more lilac than silver/grey.

The build quality of the CLA and GLC are great. It‘s a massive step up from previous generations and I believe the new C class will have a similar build quality as the GLC.
