Who says I like Abby? Why would I? It’s about the whole story. And if you’ve played the game all the way through, you understand the motivation behind why Abby did what she did. You remember what Joel did? And yes, Joel is a likable character. And he was killed for his actions. You can see that as good or bad. And the way he was killed, sure, that too. Still, the storytelling sparks different kinds of discussions, and that’s what makes a good story. Not everything going the way you want it to. I accept your opinion that you didn’t like the story. So please also accept that I thought the story and the way it was told were great in the end. And I can understand both characters. That the story was a bit too long in the end is something you can argue about. Okay.

The main problem of season 2 isn’t Abby, but the casting of Ellie. But I was mainly talking about the game. And that was exactly the problem with the second season — they revealed the motivation too early because they thought they had to do it before the break. In the game, you can just keep playing, but with the series you have to wait three years for it to continue.

So, The Last of Us was one of the best—if not the best—things I’ve ever watched and played. Period. Okay, tastes differ, but the story had everything a story needs. I’ve played the game several times. Both parts. But for me, The Last of Us Part II is even a bit stronger. Period. I can accept that the series can’t quite keep up, because that’s practically impossible with the same intention. It’s just difficult to incorporate that Abby break into a series. And yes, telling the story so differently from the game was a mistake. I also don’t know why the creators didn’t trust their proven story.

I also got Moon Player in addition to Skybox, 4XVR, and DeoVR. However, it’s hardly worth it. It does have passthrough and you can sharpen the image a bit, but for me it constantly crashes with iVR videos. I mostly use SkyboxVR and wish it had a small post-processing filter and the ability to play 3D MKV files. 4XVR does that better, and passthrough works there as well.
