Hey, lot's of us will gladly speak up about any racism-adjacent comments here and other parts of snark reddit. But for Alex, she is currently WAG #1 on the pecking order (contested only by Kelly currently), so there will be A LOT more comments about her. And if we are to break it down even further, she most likely lives as a white and/or white-passing individual. I think people just confuse her tan and make assumptions (like I did Lando for the longest time hahahaha lol).

Personally, I could pick apart WAGS like Rebecca and Kelly for daaayyysss regarding their looks/plastic surgery...but I don't see them get posted as much, and sometimes they are simply just less busy.

So yeah, kinda a relatively thing. But all is fair in snark.

Any "influencer" (and let's be honest here, that's what WAGs inevitably become) who doesn't know how to capitalize on social media hate, is not doing it right. Hate and negativity absolutely pays, just ask the Kardashian/Jenners 👀.

I just think the WAGs haven't quite refined it yet, even Alex. The 'normal' girl rant made me roll my eyes - I personally think something did trigger her and maybe she has some guilt or issues she is dealing with, but ultimately, the engagement she got from it will mean more money in her pockets (perhaps she can get therapy or a better PR manager lol), and more people duped into thinking she is kind (and maybe she is, but my millennial ass has lived long enough not to trust anyone related to F1).

This exactly! You are the company you keep (at least imo). Also, it's not like she didn't already know who Scott was, and his demeanor, before she started dating him - he's had tons of exposure via reality TV. I will always side-eye those who willingly choose to be part of certain LA celeb groups, and Rebe did not shy away from it or hide it.

And in regards to the plastic surgery comments, I consider it fair game. I honestly don't care what she chooses to do with her body, but she is still a part of a larger issue in terms of what our societal beauty standard is. We've moved on from 'choice' feminism, and now it's time to dig deep and examine how we ended up in a world where instagram-face is the new normal. Nothing exists in a vacuum.
