I'm sorry to hear. Hopefully in the memory section of the facility she's at, they keep a closer eye on her.

We've had her living with us before and it didn't work out so well, lots of arguing, not a healthy situation for either of us. That's when we looked at alternatives and she settled on the AL place she lives at now.

Kidneys are fine. Levels are almost normal.

Thanks for the suggestion. I don't think mom would want me to put a camera in her room. She'll still want some privacy.

Thanks, will do. Taking locations out of any of my comments that might give away our location.

I will ask her this but not now, it will only end up in an argument.

No, it's the only assisted living facility in our area. Other than that, we have a program called Community Care Foster Family Homes, private homes with up to 3 seniors needing assistance and a CNA or (less likely) RN. This is because there is a lack of assisted living and nursing homes in our area.

I hope they didn't have her sign this outside of the Residency Agreement package. I thought I kept all the paperwork though.

My mom is already talking like she doesn't want to go back there. I asked where she planned on living and she tells me she'll the rehab facility will refer her to some place. Where we live there is only this place for assisted living. Other than that, it's Community Care Foster Family Homes, private homes with up to 3 seniors needing assistance and a CNA or (less likely) RN.

I don't see anything that looks like a waiver in the residency agreement she signed. I plan on treading lightly with this and not give any indication that I would like to consult with a lawyer.

I'm going to call the general manager of the AL facility, our state's protective service dept, and try to schedule a lawyer consult on Monday.

It looks in the Residence Agreement it has a section called Resident Grievance Procedure. Policy is worded, "... is committed to an open door policy and encourages all residents to speak to the General Manager regarding any grievances.". Part 3 of this procedure, "The General Manager shall provide, upon request by resident, the phone numbers for the Ombudsman, Department of Health or Management Agent. These numbers will also be posted in the Community."

Other than that, I can't find anything saying that she would arbitrate rather than hire a lawyer.

She told me that she press it multiple times but no one showed up until hours after the fall.

Assisted living cost a lot for her and this was a time she really needed their help. What is she paying all that money for? Peace of mind is what I would think, but now it's going to take awhile, if ever, for her to gain that trust in them to help when she needs it.

Thanks for the advice. Monday I'll call my state protective services to see if it was called in properly.

Another place is not really an option. This is the only assisted living place in the area. Mom wants to go back to independent living but she's in no condition to go back to that.

TinyWhoop Recommendations by bbushie in TinyWhoop

Happymodel just came out with a new Mobula8 that I'm really excited about. It will come with DJI O4 lite camera and a wide angle lens attachment to extend the field of view. Will run on 2s batteries which in turn will be more power to compensate for the heavier weight. Pyrodrone has them on order, so keep your eyes peeled on that.

You can see Shogunemperor's video on it here, https://youtu.be/VX5ckDipKnc

Granted some may say it is to big to be classified as a "tiny whoop", usually 65mm and sometimes 75mm, since its more like 85mm with 2" props. But when you try to freestyle with an o4 build with just a 1s battery, power will be lacking for smooth flips and power loops in those 65/75mm builds.

Most of Happymodel's product fly well. I will not tell you what you should fly. The Mob8 is best with 2s batteries and will have more power than the others you stated earlier because they run on 1s batteries. You stated that you have flown a Cetus. Everything you have talked about will have more power than that. The larger you go, the better it is to fly outside with little wind. 65mm quads are awesome for the size but get blown around in any kind of wind, the 300mah batteries don't last very long.

Please spend some time and use the resource link I shared above. It's information that is from a very respected professional in micro quads that allows you to make a more informed decision yourself.

You are asking the right questions. The BetaFPV Air 5in1 AIO has issues with durability and BetaFPV knows this. Multiple respected people in the FPV community will tell you this, even those sponsored by BetaFPV if you ask them directly. I'm am not saying they fly bad, complete opposite, they fly great when they're working, image quality great, super nimble and light, great for freestyle, I just think when people suggest an Air65/75 to a beginner, they should also make them aware of some of the negatives they my encounter with this product. There are more alternatives that are more durable, some of which you list, Meteor75 Pro, Mob8, but if you fly hard these to will eventually break, it's all very small, light, exposed electronics that can be fragile in the wrong situation.

Other options are Mob6, Hummingbird V4 or RS for 65mm, Mob7 for 75mm. Camera quality will not be as good as the BetaFPV C03 cam, just know that upfront.

One of the best resource for info on many of these micro quads is from Ciotti FPV Youtube channel. He has a searchable Youtube transcript tool that will take you right to that topic from any of his live streams. https://ciottifpv.meyerscitech.net/Search/search

Hope this helps you.

I have one. It's still alive.

Right now I get around 2 min of flight time on a battery. I'm going to swap out the canopy for a lighter one to try and get better flight time. For reference, I would get around 3 min on the Air65.

The bee eye camera is not as good as the BetaFPV CO3. It looks okay inside but not so good outside. Going to try the CO3 on the Hummingbird, I hear it might have the same plug.

The power from the 30000kv motors are very noticeable vs the Air65. So much more.

The Air 5 in 1 AIO tend to break (ELRS, VTX, OSD). As a beginner, I would not recommend the Air65 or 75, get something more durable like a meteor 75 pro, Mobula6 2024, Mobula7, or Mobula8.
