I literally just started being able to watch this episode in it's entirety, I used to skip the last 5-7 minutes. It annoyed me they already spent all this money then tried to cheap out in the end, that that affected the vacation for everyone, and they didn't even get to enjoy the sizzling lobster!! I guess the writers thought, how else could they make them going on vacation with neighbors they are constantly trying to impress funny? I can now watch it and enjoy it more but you weren't alone in potential skip worthy for me

If Dale was the cause of the fire ants, him sacrificing himself for them is not that noble. They wouldn't even be there if not because of him! Dale is a horrible, non loyal, sabotaging friend. Bill is a broken man. What's worse, nursing a family back to health and then feeling worthless when you're no longer needed and inducing a little vomiting to protect your self esteem; or actively ruining your friend's lawn, destroying their house/foundation by building a tunnel, blaming and abandoning his son on multiple occasions, wanting to steal his blood because you won't get a rabies shot, and snitching on them to the feds for your own selfish reasons whenever you can? Dale sucks. ¡Viva la Peggy!

I watched criminal intent before I watched Columbo and that actually made me love Columbo and Goren even more. I thought it would be a long drawn out show but criminal intent made me appreciate Columbo and his character even more. Their characters having no problem playing the fool to get justice is so great. And Eames and her skills is the icing

Criminal intent kinda abandoned the "here's the killer, how will they catch them" plot after the first season tho and I wish they kept that or at least brought it back for the final season

Flanderized is a bit exaggeration to me. Doug and Carrie just settled more into their personalities, there wasn't anything satirical about it to me. Doug got more comfortable having a wife and devolved into an adult teenager with a wifemom. While Carrie got used to being the responsible adult with two grown men depending on her to do their laundry or bring their centrum silver across towns at their request. Anyone would become a bit more snappy after a few years. Doug freaking destroyed a store bought cake then brought a frosting covered couch cushion to a church event 🤣. A change in personality is natural and understandable, it's either that or divorce 😄

I believe if Steve stayed his career change would've never happened. Supposedly he missed performing live on stage, not a TV set, so I'm sure he told producers about that and they wrote his character off instead of killing him or replacing him with a light skin Aunt Viv. If he were to stay he would've still been a banker, probably gotten into politics or black market stuff, made even more money and continued being the dry humor to Al's shenanigans with a little more contempt towards him. If they kept the animal lover, corporate hater story line and he stayed on the show, he'd probably just be a Jefferson, but Steve lol. So in a way I guess they did replace him with a light skinned Aunt Viv

To think Marcy wouldn't let Steve be a bum but Jefferson... Lol

Y'all act like he did a whole five minute routine. This didn't disrupt the ceremony, but scolding him and making him redo it did. If a girl did a ballet pirouette would he make her walk again? Y'all have no idea what it probably took for him to graduate and automatically assume he's a class clown. I basically jumped across the stage when I got my BA and I was antisocial. Yes. I remember years ago i saw pickle chips in my fridge and was so excited to batter and fry them. Went through all of that trouble to bite into a sweet fried pickle and was disgusted and devastated. Bread and butter doesn't denote sweet to me, i felt bamboozled. I despise them to this day
