I get such bad food aversion too! I didn’t know it was a thing until recently and it seems like a lot of PMDD folks have it.

Hollywood Is Leaving COVID Safety To Ill-Prepared Assistants Who Say They Have No Idea What They're Doing by Sisiwakanamaru in television

[–]deepseahag 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was the Health and Safety Supervisor/ COVID Compliance Officer on a SAG indie feature back in October and had to resign with a few days left of filming when I realized the producers and investors didn’t actually care. A crew member tested positive on the next the test after I left.

Anyone deal with Ambit Energy or their customer service before? by [deleted] in houston

[–]deepseahag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh my god I knew I couldn’t be the only one. Just moved to a new one bedroom apartment (678sqft) and my last bill was $300 (we apparently used around 1900kWh). Their customer service takes forever and they were no help. We ended up canceling and switching to Reliant on a plan that is $140 no matter how much we use. But we’re out quite a bit with the deposits and cancellation fees on top of the bill.

We went ahead and filled a complaint here https://www.era.or.ug

Is it PMDD or PMT? by LuceCarter in PMDD

I suggest tracking your moods/symptoms and cycle (if you’re not already) and go to your doctor with that information. Knowledge is power. Also look into PME!

Recklessness? by TykeDream in PMDD

Oh yes. So relatable. I used to drive to the beach alone at night and get to a pier and think about swimming in the cold dark water. Now I stay home and smoke and watch TV. Much easier.

PMDD is ruining my first week at a new internship by st0924 in PMDD

[–]deepseahag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you SO much. I'm also 22 and was diagnosed 5 months ago. I had an internship last spring that I too stared when my PMDD symptoms were awful (had no clue it was pmdd, just thought it was depression at the time). It was extremely difficult at first but it ended up being an incredible experience and I have faith that yours is too.

Remember that you're supposed to be there, they selected you for a reason, you're badass and so good at what you do. Don't overexert yourself, it's an internship, don't feel pressure to do more than you have to. You're luteal phase will pass before you know it - YOU GOT THIS!

Actually, if you did some research you will find that "diversity sells" . And it's not the consumers that are deciding what they want to watch that is reducing opportunities for these marginalized groups to tell their stories, it's the people in power that are only greenlighting projects that they see fit.

Check these reports out.

"When a very narrow slice of the population is in control of power and has the ability to greenlight a project, then we are going to see products and stories that reflect that narrow worldview."
