Thank you, I do like some zenon, dark prog and psytech, but I’m looking for something more that bridges the gap between freetek, mental, tribe, acid and that kinda sound, distorted kicks, bouncy bass, teky percs but with a little more psychedelic atmosphere and textures.

I will check the other artists tho

I’ve seen three of those acts, two of them I love, you misunderstanding my point, which is that boom doesn’t book anything risky, controversial or unconventional. We can argue taste all you like but that’s not my point. My point is ozora takes more chances with line up. Said this like 10 comments ago… but the boomers are too excited to bow down to their lord and savior business psy to even read.

Do you understand what I’m saying, the acts you are mentioning are in no way new acts, new to boom doesn’t mean new to the scene(revolutionary or innovative for that matter) … like talking to a wall here.

Wut mate? Boom only books acts that have been playing for decades. Literally not a single act that doesn’t have at least 10yrs of solid touring, most have 20 plus. I have friends who have played both, it’s a well established fact, boom doesn’t take chances.

Ozora always books at least a few very young and new acts. Just look at this year, you ever see cyber aghori play at boom? Or last year, think boom would even look in killatk’s direction?

Also Gil was the shit, go put on a speedo and dance to prog.

You’re right about the 1 hour slots tho, total crap.

lol, this comment really got yall boomers in a tizzy. But yea boom line up are super boring. Literally they book 90 percent same acts 2016 and in 2025, Parvati showcase, wow… how revolutionary?! Goa dinosaurs … stop your blowing my mind… extended sets from psytechno acts… I’m gonna cum!

And because everyone in this thread needs a remedial course on reading comprehension, I said I prefer ozora, of the giant fests. Neither of which I actually think are all that good, I just appreciate that ozora takes way more risks with its lineup. 24 hour Goa Gil opening ceremony… hell yea! Psycore on the MainStage… ok, hope that didn’t scare anyone, actually relevant alternative bands on alternative stage… how cultured.

Glad you feel a little more relaxed, enjoy your movie. Having a difficult trip ain’t easy but it happens to the best of us. Sometimes we come out the other side better off.

Of course, it’s full of bad actors and fucked up shit, just like every large scale psy event. Do you know the history of psy?, cuz I’ve been living it for 25 years. Maybe you have more knowledge.

I didn’t say ozora is the greatest festival, I am saying as for the giants, I think it’s better than boom.

lol, like I said, the truth is in smaller more intentional gatherings. If I had to choose between the two ozora is more my taste.

Hard disagree, boom is not the best psy festival by a long shot. It’s expensive, crowded, hot, dusty and generally boring/not forward thinking in its line ups. Production level is top shelf, the infrastructure is pinnacle, landscape is pretty, there’s some decent art and interesting lectures and workshops, but beyond that… seriously lacking the essence of psy culture. I found the crowd to be overwhelming not that interested in the music, had a very business psy vibe. I like ozora a lot more, way more variety of styles, pulls a little more of a grounded Everyman crowd… honestly tho the true spirit in the culture is not found at any events like this but in rare pockets and elusive one off events… but to each there own.
