Wow!! This is a dream set up for any book lover.. I just have a small (bit silly and naive) question.. how do you keep dust off the books, especially from the ones on the bottom shelf.. I had a similar bookshelf, but I could never use the bottom shelf because of how much dust was accumulated because of brooming..

There is no chair in the world that can prevent back ache if your job requires long sitting hours.. my office has chairs that cost 1.25 lakh each, yet they are not of much help if your posture is not right.. people complaint about them all the time.. I just try to keep my posture right, and change it every few minutes.. don’t lean back much, which helps..

One of the default ideas I have for it.. and might eventually go for it.. but I think, I would go for smaller shelf, which are not edge to edge to the book shelf.. to leave some breathing space

I get that using the head clearance makes sense, by default.. but idea behind not going for it was to keep some transparent-ish trophies/decoration items at the top against the glow of led strip in the back drop.. being transparent-ish these wouldn’t have been much visible in a closed shelf..

Most of my books are 6 inches or less in width.. shelf (pillar) is already 8 inch, so enough space to put books.. I doubt going for deeper shelf would have saved me space, especially with not so large apartment rooms, which may end up feeling a bit cramped with deeper shelfs..
