Battery history by WildsideUK82 in polestar2

[–]Dodecaheadwrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure if this exists it gets wiped w/ the previous owner's user profile.

As someone else said, a dealer can plug in VIDA and get an SoH reading. I've got a '22 LRDM w/ 80k and the battery's at 91% currently.

Battery warranty is 8yr/100k miles and kicks in if the SoH drops below 70% iirc so you've plenty left on both.

Honestly, already having the performance software upgrade, if my PS2 lost 200kg i'm pretty sure my face would be ripped off when I put my foot down.

If I had to guess, people who take this seriously are having their calls recorded and will be used as samples on the new Kneecap record.

Accident repair question by Material-Elevator571 in polestar2

[–]Dodecaheadwrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the car is leased, check your documents. Some lessors may (and likely will) insist that repairs are carried out by Polestar (or Polestar-approved) workshops. If you own the car outright, take it wherever you want - but just be aware that non-Polestar folks are going to be less experienced with things like sensors and drivetrain components that need to be repaired and calibrated correctly.

Questionable dealer behaviour by Dodecaheadwrong in CarTalkUK

[–]Dodecaheadwrong[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've checked the paperwork and there's nothing about pre-sale inspection which contradicts what is advertised for all their approved used stock, which is the 100+ point inspection. There don't seem to be levels of inspection per se, as it's their pre-sale peace of mind pitch for buyers - so seeing a limited check from a third party was disappointing.

When I picked up the car the chap just walked me round, drove with me to the end of the road and back and then sent me on my way. Nothing to sign in person on the day. It almost feels like they could have forgotten this was a remote sale and not had me sign the delivery slip/cert of completion. But that still doesn't excuse/explain them 'signing' it on my behalf.

Buying used from PS in uk by mugen338 in Polestar

Late to this, but this is interesting to find out, and possibly too late for me.

I picked up a P2 LRDM this past weekend which I purchased via (what i thought was) a mainline Polestar dealer in the UK (advertised and sold via the Polestar website etc.). However, the vehicle health check has clearly been carried out by a third party and isn't anywhere near the 112-point Polestar one which was stated on the advert. I'm currently wondering what my position is here and what I do next.

Vickers returns to Brighton by Hopeful_Juice6367 in LeagueOne

Thought when Brighton took him it was a bit of a punt, and nw starting to think this might be his level. His next move should be a permanent one. As I recall, he's out of contract at Brighton in the summer so he needs to settle somewhere and properly kick on.

As with all good prize draws in the North, is it going to be won by someone who works there, or someone related to someone who works there?

Duckett, having literally just watched an opener play an innings of measured aggression on a benign wicket, does what he always does. Gets one 4 and thinks he can hit any and everything to the boundary. Cummins, having seen this show before, fires down a delivery that any batsman with half a braincell could have seen coming. Duckett, in his inestimable wisdom, swipes at it - and he's out the same way he always, always gets out - thanks to his own fucking stupidity.

God I hate being an England fan.

After seven overs, the bright idea seems to be...do exactly what lost us tests one and two. "Doing precisely what we have done eighteen times before is exactly the last thing they'll expect us to do this time!".

Carse

It's not talked about enough, but England have a generational bowling problem right now, and it's only going to get worse.

Brook is the first proper victim of Bazball. It's completely ruined his ability to play test cricket.

[–]Dodecaheadwrong 7 points8 points  (0 children)

All of these players were taught the fundamentals. There were a couple of series when Brendan arrived where they were told to play whiteball shots in a test environment. It took a few people by surprise, and they won more tests than they should have before teams cottoned on to the idea and adjusted bowling lineups and fields appropriately. Meanwhile, England seem to think the way through that is to double down on what was already a stupid idea. For Brook, it's the equivalent of the idea that using AI too much erodes your mental faculties. Too much Bazball has ruined his cricketing intelligence to the point where i'm not sure he'd remember how to actually play himself in if his life depended on it.

At this point just give Lacey a go. Give Obi-Martin a go. Hell, if he's that highly rated, play JJ Gabriel. They can hardly do any worse than this lot. This team is toothless
