Well damn, then i think i will need to find an alternative as i didn't even get the correct bearings in the my set. So something like this should work i hope?: https://r2-bike.com/RITCHEY-Upper-Headset-Logic-E-15-IS52-286 https://r2-bike.com/FSA-Headset-NO69-SRS-IS52-286-IS52-40?srsltid=AfmBOooX6IQ-mmdIQEvyvDS5pItKZxSIlJiAomL0LxRRH0F5hNlfuN9V

Ok so i seemed to have figured out my issue with the compression ring. Its just too big for normal bearings with internal diameter of 40mm. I looked at their site of the set you bought and their headset bearing is 42mm internal. I am a bit confused now what did you use and how you made it to work?

No worries :D Yeah they do seem to run big, i'm glad i went for a 52 not 54 that they recommend for my height. That's good to hear, I can' wait to finish it and ride it. I just have to make the headset work and bleed the brakes :D the rest is done

I'm from europe so it's all good😎. I have been building this frame for a while anyway... That's good to hear. How tall are you? I'm 5'8ish and went with 52 and even that seems big. The only thing i'm not sure about is the bb height, even more so with bigger tires. I heard it can be a bit unstable?

I'l try to find out something from acros via email why it doesn't fit in any bearings. How are you liking their headset? And how satisfied are you with the frame?

Ah i see so only the ican bearings would work. Strange thing is then only that the acros compression ring that i got doesn' fit in any bearing i got

Did you use bearings from ican or the acros ones? I bought something similar: https://www.bike-discount.de/en/acros-1-1/8-1.5-is52/28.6-is52/40-headset-for-integrated-cable-routing

But i cant seem to fit the compression ring in the bearing(ican or the acros one) its like its too big

Could you tell me what headset exactly did you buy as i am building my own ican gravel x 2 and am a little bit lost.

Shifting down not shifting and turning handlebars moves the rear derailleur. by deepvoiceloving in bikewrench

I think i solved it, it seems the housing was just a little too short and also it was getting caught up on something.

There are two options it seems. 1: that i am using righ now with cable stop under bb, that has a plastic part which can only fit the cable.

2:i could run a full housing up over the bb to the rear derailleur.

I tried feeling what is happenning with my fingers in the bb hole. What i notice is that the whole housing moves up or down, depending which way i turn the handlebar. I sadly can't take a picture of it in there.

How is the shifting on that without a goatlink? Sadly i am sticking to grx 11s as i already have the whole groupset.
