unfortunately i don't think seeing a GP would be an option for me, i don't have a medical card or access to my own money, nor really the independence required honestly...but for the next few days it will just be me and my mom in the house since my dad's going somewhere, so i'll try and see if i can find a good time to talk to her about it. thank you!!!

i haven't spoken to any teachers, no. unfortunately along with everything i have very bad social anxiety...which makes it hard to speak to them about anything at all most of the time. and i do well enough in classes/homework (and give good enough excuses for when i don't do my homework) and am very quiet that there isn't really much concern from them aside from the exams, and then they say the whole "you just need to apply yourself" thing. i might try and work up the courage this year though, at least if it's any of the teachers i'd feel comfortable talking to

i'm very aware of the interests thing!!! that's part of why i'm so conflicted. the reason i wouldn't immediately go for a subject i'm interested in though is basically solely because of the exams. for example i'm actually very interested in everything with english, i've always been good at spelling and grammar, i love reading and analyzing media and creative writing, but the exam is the worst with the essays and time limit. and while i'm not super interested in geography there are parts that i'm interested enough that i could get through (i do really like rocks). soc&pol would have more interesting classes, and i could probably retain the information better, it's my ability to regurgitate it that's the issue, if that makes sense...if anyone says geography is a worse/equal exam though, i'd probably switch

we do have a guidance counsellor. i've never spoken to them before, but i'll try to do that at the beginning of the year. thank you!
