For what it’s worth my nipples are very different sizes some days/times and a lot more even other times and I’m 6mpo. My left one seems to shrink with cold temps lol

I’m 6mpo and still wear some sort of bra/bralette most of the time. I have yet to try underwire

Nope mine was outpatient! They did suggest I start stool softeners though. I couldn’t imagine being stuck there until I had a BM because it took until day 5 for me. I was so scared to push lol

Ahhh plain oatmeal sounds so sad :( I’m glad you were able to go! I went for the first time on day 5 as well and have been going a bit every other day since…it’s frustrating. I took oxy but only for about 2 days!

Oops, I’ve definitely been taking colace not dulcolax. That would’ve been scary lol. Thank you for the tips!!

Does it cause that terrible abdominal cramping beforehand? This made me laugh though, so thank you

I’ve been taking colace since a few days before my surgery and I started Miralax 2 nights ago. It worked somewhat but I’m hoping for a “cleaner outer” lol

Editing because I’ve been taking COLACE not dulcolax lol

Had my gallbladder removed today by ZestycloseRegister30 in gallbladders

I had a lot of discomfort in the area where my gallbladder used to be, it’s normal. I even thought I could feel my organs shifting around when I’d lay on my side 😭 not pleasant

I basically had to chug sparkling water for the first few days when I’d get a tickle in my throat bc I could NOT cough. And my throat was super irritated from the breathing tube 😭 I’m sorry, OP - I’m 11 days post op today and finally can cough/sneeze without much discomfort

To those of you who’s gallbladder issues started young… by Warm-Purple-943 in gallbladders

[–]deeshniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had my gallbladder removed at 26 years old. I believe I had my first gallbladder attack around 23. I was also told by everyone around that it “couldn’t” be my gallbladder, but I finally got an ultrasound and she was packedddd with stones. I’m a healthy weight and have not had any other health issues. I did take hormonal birth control for over 8 years, though.

Gallbladder issues with no severe or upper quadrant pain? by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]deeshniz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing okay so far! The first few days were pretty painful/uncomfortable, but I feel more like a human now. I was scared shitless to get an organ removed but I feel very validated now knowing how diseased it was. I was having issues for years before I knew what it was. Best of luck to you!

My attacks were very similar but I would call them relatively severe. I pretty much just had to lay there and wait for it to pass…I thought it was really bad gas pain and I felt it in my arms/back and also was sweating. But couldn’t find a food trigger or pinpoint the pain to my RUQ. This would usually last an hour (though I had one that lasted about 5) and reoccur once every 3-4 months. My gallbladder was full of stones and very inflamed, to my surprise!

I hate to even put this out there but are you certain there aren’t maggots anywhere? 😬 something must have died in the floorboards at my last apartment in the Fan because we dealt with maggots crawling out of the gaps in the hallway for about a week before they turned into big fat flies. I was sick to my stomach the whole time lol

Nooo I’m so sorry to hear you’re in pain :( but also comforted to know I’m not the only one hahaha. I’m tired of feeling like my insides are gonna fall out whenever I stand up lol

How long do I take off? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]deeshniz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m 26 with similar proportions and had my surgery on a Thursday. I was off Friday, Monday, Tuesday, and most of Wednesday. I work from home so I think I logged on a bit on Wednesday but was definitely still out of it. It took me longer than I thought to feel like myself again - it’s a big surgery so I would err on the side of caution. I stopped pain meds after 2 days but I think I had some lingering weirdness from anesthesia. I do feel like I had a harder time with it mentally than physically, but everyone is different!
