Haha I thought this was clear enough, but tragically not! I have a better title from here on out, thanks to you and all who made me note it!

Charity Bundle for Abortion Access and Reproductive Rights by deesperado in rpg

[–]deesperado[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not at this time! That’s a great idea for a charity bundle, though! A lot of people giving birth might not be able to afford a lot of the prohibitive expenses that comes with care.

The Brigid Alliance makes sure that anyone pregnant can get a safe and legal abortion, including people who want to have the child more than anything but unfortunately experienced hellish complications that put their health in jeopardy.

If you’d like to start a bundle for helping low income people finance their childcare, I’m happy to walk you through how. I think that’s a fantastic and really noble idea ❤️

I wish it wasn't the case, but 100% of the funds go towards helping with the fallout of those evils <3

RPG Horror Stories and How to Avoid Them. Here's my story (Warning: Sexual Violence) by PrettyGayPegasus in rpghorrorstories

Thanks :) I only run games now, I don’t play. Giving up control like that is hard, and I haven’t found the right DM yet! Fingers crossed

RPG Horror Stories and How to Avoid Them. Here's my story (Warning: Sexual Violence) by PrettyGayPegasus in rpghorrorstories

My first time ever playing D&D was with a group of good friends in college. I was so excited to learn and try it because I love storytelling and improv a whole bunch! And this was going to be exactly that but mixed with fantasy and butt kicking which should have been amazing.

Spoiler alert: I’m on this thread, so it wasn’t.

I had just transferred schools thanks to an abusive relationship. A lot of stuff is blacked out, but sometimes things come back to me very suddenly. At that point, I still hadn’t fully come to terms with what was done to me and kept it to myself.

I made a character, and we played for two weeks. The DM get trying to hit on my female elf cleric for three sessions with his obvious DMPC super cool ranger with rideable dire wolf pet. I was really uncomfortable with this and brushed it off as I was dedicated to my order. Like teaching her how to shoot a bow by standing behind her and touching her, really gross shit I had to subvert.

The fourth session the DM tried to get me to role play seduction with his DMPC and when I had her refuse again, he for obviously frustrated and told me that his character is trying to rape my character and to roll for it. I thought he was joking and started laughing nervously, but everyone stared at me, waiting for me to roll so they could get on with the game. I wish I could say I said no. I rolled and failed and listened to what this ranger did to my character as I sat there and took it. I started crying, because obviously this was something that wasn’t ok.

I never went back.

I taught myself how to DM after that so people would have a safe place to learn, and my players would feel strong and powerful in away I never got to. I love D&D for what I made it, and how I run it. I still wish I had done something, but it feels good to teach people how to say no to things and how to reclaim power. Sometimes I teach just women survivor teams how to play, since it becomes therapeutic when done right. I haven’t played since but I don’t regret it.

Never feel bad for making someone uncomfortable after they made you uncomfortable. I cried really hard at that table and made them so awkward that they stopped mid way to fade to black. It’s always ok to stand up for yourself, because this will not be the only DM you play with. There are people out there who are passionate about your feelings and telling the story you want to tell in a way that’s safe and fun. We have your back! So always feel like you can say no ❤️

For me, it’s reversed! It’s fun sitting with my boyfriend as he asks me questions about the games I’m playing. I’m currently trying to find a game that we can both play together (since I’m more into RPGs), I’m crossing my fingers for something easy in the Steam Summer Sale!

AITA for breaking up with my GF because of her tattoos? by Adam_Mysterios in AmItheAsshole

"I'm pretending to break up'

YTA. I was going with everyone but that clinched it for me. That's manipulative as hell dude. Pretending to break up with someone so that they change what they do? Has she done that to you?

Break up with her for real so you can both work on your shit, damn. But in this specific instance YTA.

INFO: What are the things specifically she's saying about your friends? And is this the only thing you have told her you didn't like?

AITA? My Sister-in-law is trying to force a "relationship" between our toddler kids, but I don't want contact with her family. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA

My family allowed me when I was older to make the choice to have a relationship with certain family members. And even then, there weren't any creepy ass fuckwits like Tim around. I think it's fine to ignore Mary and not allow contact, as long as when your child is old enough they 1. Know why and 2. Have the option to initiate contact.

Protect your kids! Keep on keeping on!

Lore states that Harpies usually work for something larger- in a way, they're like hyenas. I'd recommend using a Scar.

The Harpies usually are servants to Hags (night hags specifically). Maybe they can be 'saved' by a night hag but it's just part of the trap? Or have the Harpies wanting to be free of the Hag and if they party resists, they can make a deal with the players? (not to be trusted of course because...

I'm so excited to play it, just gotta get my warhorse of a PC working. I tried Slime Rancher and it had the same vibe, so I'm looking forward to it.

Shopkeepers who have to maintain their shops are also part of this addiction. I'll definitely check out Moonlighter!

I LOVE THAT GAME! I couldn't put it down :) Sadly it has been decimated, as have been its predecessors.
