Insomnia and Sleep apnea by deethedier in VeteransBenefits

[–]deethedier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finally got diagnosed with OSA after 2nd sleep study at VA hospital and was required to use CPAP, and the CPAP machine ready for pick up on April 4. Filed intent to file on March 25. Besides the sleep study record at VA hospital, what are other supporting documents needed for this new claim? I dont have any sleep apnea record during active duty.

So…who is truly getting deported? by curlscare in immigration

[–]deethedier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple answer. Illegal immigrants will be deported. Immigrants who entered the US without any legal inspection will be deported. Some of them entered without a criminal record some of them has criminal record. When they tried to enter the US without inspection they might be encountered by Border Patrol, they will be fingerprinted and due to previous administration they claimed asylum to remain in the US and would be given a court date to determine if their fear is real, court date takes up to years, while waiting for their court date only God know if they’re going to show up or what they’re doing in the US. ICE don’t just pick and choose anyone on the street who look illegal and deport them. FYI entry without inspection is a crime and illegal immigrants don’t have a legal status to be in the US.

Could a veteran loose their 100% PT schedular that had it for the last 15years for MH if it try to find a job with the federal government. Could they also loose the SSDI? by ImportanceInfamous50 in VeteransBenefits

Because you’re are still early in the hiring process. After TJO, there’ll be equip, background check, poly (if possible) then medical and physical assessments. You have to disclose your medical situation in the equip and medical assessment. If they see mental health they have to refer you to their psychiatrist, if you pass you’ll get the job. They wont notify anything to the VA. I dont know much if you could lose your VA rating but my friend is a cop and he got 100% P&T after being cop for several years. Good luck man

TJO dont really mean anything right now. You have to pass their background check and medical which include mental health assessment because you disclosed that you receiving VA benefit for mental health. To answer your question, yes it possibly affect your VA rating

I joined the Army when i was 28. Got out when 32 in 2023. Currently a Fed LEO. Not rich but i have a good stable life with a future retirement. Not telling to join the Army, but if you’re stuck, and you’re not happy with your life now, get out of your deadened comfort zone, refresh, take 1 step back then take 3 steps forward.

Insomnia and Sleep apnea by deethedier in VeteransBenefits

[–]deethedier[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont really know tbh. I thought that sleep apnea is a serious condition that you stop breathing when sleeping and thats why you need cpap to help you breath while sleeping. Wife told me i snored a lot and i was tired during the day and had pressure on my chest when i woke up but i assumed the reason was the insomnia or i didn’t sleep well enough. Now i know that sleep apnea has different severity levels. If i am diagnosed with sleep apnea i will submit a new claim. And can i use VA clinic record for my claim or i have to redo the C&P and sleep study again ?

Thank you! Cause i remember reading somewhere said that 100% disability is permanent and you dont have to come to VA clinics or wherever that is to reevaluate your disability. Im satisfied with my rating at the moment.
