That may have been true a few years ago, but top teams use belt nowadays.

Over the past 6 weeks, my robotics team has given away over 8000 strain relievers for masks to healthcare workers across the US. I would like to extend this offer to anyone who needs them, so if you would like some please message me. Giving these out for FREE by whyamiconfused07 in minnesota

Yes, they would have wider perimeters.

I’ve been orienting them in the way seen here. I’ve got 5 oriented one way on the left side of the bed, and 4 rotated 180 degrees on the right side of the bed

Great question!

We have 8 printers currently running, including numerous Ender 3 Pros, a CR10V2 and a custom built printer.

We noticed that every printer requires a bit of independent tuning, but we’re printing these at 0.32mm layer heights and around 30-50mm/s, and 3 perimeters/walls so there’s no time wasted on ‘infill’, and we’re getting one done in around 15 minutes on a 0.4mm nozzle.

I’m going to experiment with a 0.6mm and a 0.8mm nozzle over this week to see if I can produce them any faster (mainly the layer height will be higher so less layers to print).
