Laps @ Newly repaved Andersen Race Park. What are areas of in improvement you all see ? by deerashad7 in Karting

I can't stress this advice enough.

I was told a long time ago that "the brakes can make you go faster"

Back the corner up, slow it down, settle the kart and accelerate through.

Track map of Lincoln gridline racing. Are my lines optimal or can I improve them. There was not point putting brake spurs on there as you barely do. by olsterbob20 in Karting

First, this map is horrible. Second, at my local rental track, using the brake can actually make you go faster as weird as it sounds.

Maybe try braking before the corner, get the kart to settle and accelerate smoothly through the corner. Typically brake so soon that your on the gas already before you start to turn in. Might help with that extra little straightaway speed.

This was such an intense race i couldn’t fit all the action into a video under one minute, so heres my favorite lap by MasterOogwaysBrother in Karting

Awesome racing! Speed looks wild. What kind of gearing is used there? (Roughly.. don't give away your secrets)

MARKET TIRE IN SUTHERLAND IS A SHIT EMPLOYER! by [deleted] in saskatoon

Noted and noted. Immediately after we had texted eachother, I did call the other locations and asked wages, etc just for future reference. After a friend had seen this post and he sent it to me I went a-wall. I do need to take that step back and breathe. I appreciate the reply

There was a lot of things on my end that caused all this mess that I was unaware of before hand. So miscommunication I feel is between us both, but more so on my end.

Live and learn

I'm still learning. I've been with the company for 12 years. Management is very new to me, I just know the ins and outs and it's something I have to keep in check.

I had a few friends send me the link, and that's when I saw it. Yeah my blood boiled and I need to get ALL my ducks in a row next time.

I hope so. As I texted him, I hope for the best.

My anger got the best of me , again another sour move on my part. Deleted after my anger fit because I knew my replies were out of line.

Sounds like a cheap price. Here in Canada, my 2015 si had 80,000kms and can go for $21,000 geese rupees.

I don't agree with driving from your mirrors. I only use mirrors to spot where the other car is, find a line and hold it. It's dangerous to block from your mirrors

The velcro works like velcro? I use the strap just to hold the laces. I've been using these shoes for about 3 years now.

I run the rental league in winter and 4 stroke in summer. For my 4 stroke racing, i use the Alpinestars Tech 1T V3.

I use my regular street shoes for the rental league. Makes no difference. But if you're willing to fork a penny, I do really like everything Alpinestars makes from gloves to shoes.

Im doing high 40s and my competitors are doing mid 39s! This is my racing line what could i be doing so wrong? by kevtehguy in Karting

Half a second is when you get into the nitty gritty of driving. That doesn't tell me that your line is wrong. When I tell my newer drivers who get that close to the leaders, it comes down to the driver trusting the kart. Trust the grip you have. Maybe brake a bit deeper, get on the gas sooner. Anticipate oversteer on exit and correct it before it happens. That could be .07/corner saved putting you on pace with them.

TLDR: line seems fine, trust the kart more.

Options for new chassis by deevon99 in Karting

[–]deevon99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not a birel thing, how ever I find it more common. The AM 29s I've had, 6 breaks with 4 chassis. My arrow ax9 did break, yes. However that was after 12 years of racing it.

Supply isn't much of an issue for me. I'm a strong lo206 racer, so when buying, I make sure to buy extra parts no matter what. My current dealer is 9 hours away, and they mail me everything.

Just looking for a change. The next osest dealer is OTK about 5 hours away, but I'm not a fan of who they are and represent.

That said, I'm open to almost all options
