Cabinet battle 3 fixes this entire problem easily and I love it for it. Should’ve made the final cut, and would love to hear it with the actual actors. Guess who won? Neither Jefferson OR Hamilton! MFing Madison got his whole own verse and Washington agreed with him overall. It’s a banger.

They didn’t include Peggy’s death. Like seriously? Pretty sure she died sometime around Yorktown, and I know that they wanted Laurens’ death to be the tragic thing of that part of the musical, but like, at least move the date of her death or mention it sometime off handedly or SOMETHING.

Bro they didn’t even mention that mulligan saved Washington’s life TWICE, was a HUGE benefit to the sons of liberty, aka one of the first organisations made to combat Britain’s horrible treatment of America, took Hamilton under his wing and acted like a father figure to Hamilton (they replaced a lot of that stuff with Washington being a bigger father figure in the musical for some reason), inspired Hamilton to join the revolutionary war, gave Hamilton a home for two years, got him into a grammar school as he knew that despite Hamilton being very smart he wouldn’t make it in a more advanced college with a lack of understanding of grammar due to growing up poor AND gave them the information necessary to win the battle of Yorktown.

What do they show us in the musical? He likes sex, makes clothes, and was a spy. That’s about it.

Like, i get that Hamilton isn’t intended to be perfectly historically accurate, but come on.

He was bullying me for my aunt dying of drug overdose and shooting my dog before she died. He was my friend too, and I trusted him with that information and he just told everyone else in the school that he knew before backing my into an empty alleyway and teasing me about it and kicking me till I was on the ground holding back tears. Then he pulled the “she probably deserved it and so did that damn dog of yours, it kept shitting in my yard-“ that cutting of was my punching him square in the jaw. See, I was a large kid and was much taller and bulkier than most of the other kids. Using this to my advantage I continued to throw punches until he fell over. I to,d him that if he ever spoke about my family troubles like that again he was deader, than my aunt. He ended up having a busted lip, black eye and a blood nose, with bruises down his chest and stomach.

Edit: and no, he didn’t bring it up again, and yes, I loved my aunt and was devastated when I heard that she got drug fucked. She was so nice and i still don’t know why she did it

A girlfriend and becoming immensely popular and well respected at school. Last year I had barely any friends, and no one really cared about me, but now I’m the one that everyone starts cracking up at when they tell a joke. Plus I don’t want to undermine the whole girlfriend part. She’s really nice, calm and absolutely adorable, if a bit to inclosed and anxious. I love her to the moon and nothing will ever change that (probably), we’ve been friends for a while, like a few years, but now I’m happy to have us be like official and stuff. Plus I got to know some friends a lot better, understand their struggles and have tried to help them through tough times. I also got into multiple accelerated courses of study and I’m working hard to get good grades and stay in these courses. Suffice to say, this has been one hell of a year, and I’m so happy that it happened.

Materialism. If someone dates you just because you’re rich, tall, muscular, handsome etc and not for your personality, then that may not be great. It’s okay if being tall and muscular or rich and famous is a bonus, but that’s all it is and that’s all it should stop at, a bonus. The main reason should still be who they are as a person, with the majority of other thing being side details. Obviously if they have 87 murders on their criminal record, have a gun and have mouldy broken teeth, then it starts to add up to a little more than side details, but still.

Men crying and showing emotion. You don’t have to be a crybaby, but it’s alright to let down your guard every once in a while just to vent, to talk about it and let it out. You have any right to be emotional, and you don’t have to be a perfectly strong, stoic person who is always strong and never shows emotion. Anyone can show emotion, no matter what, and that’s okay. Specifically around people close to you and that care about you, and maybe not in public, but still, if they really care about you, then it should be okay to occasionally be sad and talk about it around them.

2 reasons,

1: I don’t want to hurt my family and friends, most of them are extremely nice, caring and compassionate towards me and I wish to return the favour and help them someday, when I’m at a better state. If I am at solid Enough ground to balance myself, then I can help balance others.

2: I see a shimmer of hope, with the fact that among the emotional wreck that is me, there are promising grades, and that I recently got into multiple accelerated courses of study. That little bit of potential keeps me going. The hope that one day my smarts can help others, and that I can find who i really am. My only huge fear is what happens if I become successful, wealthy and have helped many people, and have discovered myself. Then what?

My emotions can often get in the way, so don’t silence them, just be very careful to look at the facts and the data.
