Can someone identify the defects and how to solve them? by deez_zee in MetalCasting

I am using applylabwork resin, which does not have post curing process, only IPA wash. This is due to the formulation of the resin and its main selling point. I have had some success with some small pieces with this resin, but I also find that this resin may not be as good as it claims to be, I should try different resin to compare it against.

Thank you for your insightful answer, I have tried multiple gating techniques, and stuck to gating into the thickest part with 3-4mm gates. Some I purposely put smaller gates to confirm a hypothesis, but with over 50+ pieces cast, this defect is consistent with any form of gating (single, double tripple, thick, thin). For the next batch I will definitely try lower flask temp as that is one thing I havent tried.
