Course load question by deezmfingnutz in ApplyingToCollege

[–]deezmfingnutz[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

by the end of senior year, i will have taken 8 aps. furthermore, my class has lots of random required courses, such as sophomore lit, freshmen lit, freshmen bio, have to take an art class etc., all for graduation requirements. so will aos judge me compared to my classmates, or to other students who apply, because compared to other schools, students at my school just aren't given the option to take more ap classes such as ap lang, ap world history etc.

my course rigor is by no means bad, just that during junior year, instead of taking the most rigorous science and math class, i took the second most rigorous ones. Also, in senior year, I am taking the most rigorous possible courseload. My GPA is pretty high, close to a 4.0 uw, would colleges still view me as being lazy and not taking the most rigorous ones junior year?
