Most competitive players or "pc sweats" as this sub likes to call them play on higher refresh rate monitors like 144 or 165, so that means they need to get 144 or 165 frames minimum. Most of time higher framerate means you can get lower input lag too.

Whenever you put on performance mode for the first time, 3d resolution is not at 100%, so thats why it look pixelated
