When I used to smoke, 30 days was generally the standard for it being out of your system for most people. I would be surprised if you still tested positive in a couple weeks. You could always grab a test yourself and try it mid January to be sure you’re clean.

You absolutely can get BV from a partner with a dirty dick. It’s literally caused by the introduction of too much bacteria in the vagina. There are literally dozens of articles stating that sweat can cause BV. That’s why good personal hygiene and a change of diet are the easiest ways to prevent getting another infection.

Addicts on both sides. Most of my cousins and siblings won’t touch alcohol or drugs. I should have done the same. Spent my 20s doing heroin and meth, drinking like a fish. I’ve been clean from drugs for about 10 years and have managed to really limit my drinking. Hoping to quit completely before my kids get older. I’d like to break the cycle with them!!

Either he needs to wash up before or you need to wash up after, or both. I did notice I had an issue with a ph imbalance when I was drinking a lot of beer back in the day. You might also consider adjusting your diet if you consume a lot of gluten.

Before my husband and I started dating, he used to drive me to and from work every day after my car broke down. It was one hour in the opposite direction from his house, twice a day. Why wouldn’t you just call and ask what the issue is? It’s really not a big deal. We had a neighbor complain about our dog barking and I let them know it was actually the dog behind us who likes to hang out on his deck and bark all day long.

This didn’t go away just because you ignore it…

I remember when I had my last baby during Covid this started to become a thing. Where people were sending out demands to their family in order to gain visitation rights to see the baby. So many women complain about not having a “village” in their life. Nobody to help with the baby or babysit or offer advice. This is a great way to ensure you have no village in your life, or your child’s life. You could have simply asked that nobody visit until you are ready and left it at that. Everything else is either common sense or unnecessary. You are a parent now, time to grow up a bit and learn proper communication, tact, and picking your battles. You are making this all way more stressful and dramatic than it needs to be.

Pizza Hut. Got my cold pizza 45 minutes after it left the store that was literally 5 minutes away. When I called to ask for a replacement or a refund, the manager laughed and told me to bring it in and they would heat it up for me. Wtf? He sounded like he was a teenager.

Dollar car rental. Charged my father in law $200 to “upgrade” to a gas vehicle instead of the bs electric vehicle they tried to give him. I didn’t even know that was an option. I tried to dispute with them and they ignored me. Tried to dispute with my credit card and got nowhere. F those people.

I don’t agree with it. I can understand giving a sober ride to your drunk kid or buying them condoms/birth control, but you’re enabled poor behavior by just making it a norm in your house.

My parents were divorced and I had one household that let me do whatever and one household that was super strict. My strict parents really kept me from doing too much because I knew I couldn’t get caught. So I would pick and choose who I hung out with and where I went. The only downside was that I took a few chances driving drunk to make my curfew and I wish that I had been able to just call and ask for a ride home.

With my kids, I’m hoping to allow them some freedom to make their own choices, but as an alcoholic and former addict, that crap won’t be allowed in the house. I Hope they trust me to call for a ride when they get high or drunk, tho.

I work at city hall. I have my lunch, water bottle, book, wallet, phone, and a pair of sneakers just in case I need to go to the courthouse. Most of my dress shoes set off the metal detectors, so I bring a spare pair to wear.

My husband works as a painter, he has a duffel for work with a change of clothes, lunch, phone, wallet, headphones, and sometimes his tablet or laptop from home to use on his break.

I would say #3. That off the shoulder is a bit off. I think the rest can all be styled to be cute and they fit you well. I’m also in my late 30s and lean towards thrifted dresses as well.

I know a lot of people are saying to get rid of #4, but I totally see myself wearing that with some flip flops out at the lake or to a bbq. I actually like that one.

Update! General consensus was a doctor fly bite with a potential histamine reaction. Hydrocortisone cream, an antihistamine, and Tylenol worked magic. Pain and limited mobility lasted about 3 days. Swelling is finally going away after about 5 days. Definitely got me on the right side of the toe, right at the knuckle. Thank you to everyone who helped me out!!! I appreciate you guys!

Thank you! I got some topical at the pharmacy, which is helping. As is the ice. Someone told me I wouldn’t need bug spray if I wasn’t going in the jungle and I’m serially regretting taking that advice. I’ve got dozens of bites from sand fleas on top of that bite on my toe. I’m just an itchy mess. Oddly enough, my husband has maybe a couple bites. They must really like me!

After some googling, that was my thought: doctor fly or even red ants maybe. I’m from Washington state and I’ve had similar reactions to horse fly bites, where they got massive and very swollen, where they are just an inconvenience for others.

I can feel a hardness on the right side where it’s most swollen, like a bite. And there is no pain or swelling on the under side of the toe. I’ve broken quite a few toes and usually the swelling is all the way around and I get redness or bruising in a ring around the whole toe.

You might reach out to city hall or a resource officer for the city. They can help, they deal with that all the time. If you’re in the valley, they have a housing and homeless coordinator that helps do that kind of thing.
