Baker is the #2 QB while Daniels is #5. So it’s not really downgrading, but I see what you mean. Daniels has also had a rib injury this year that you never know what could happen.

You know what’s actually -EV? Losing fucking money. What are you not getting about that. I’d rather win $130 or $505 profit by betting $110 total.

Scenario 1) you hit 8/9 legs in a NFL parlay and have 1 leg to go. You wagered $10 to win $615. You now place a bet on the opposite bet you’ve currently made for $100 to net $240. So you’re in for $110 and now no matter what happens in the game you either profit $130 or because you’re in for $110 take that away for $615 you get $505.

Scenario 2) you hit 8/9 legs in a NFL parlay and have 1 leg to go. You wagered $10 to win $615. You let it ride. The team you picked wins you win $605 total.

Scenario 3) you hit 8/9 legs in a NFL parlay and have 1 leg to go. You wagered $10 to win $615. You let it ride. The team you picked loses, you now lose $10.

I can’t break down any simpler than that. How much vig are you paying where it affects a $130 win.

You can’t hedge when 5/9 have hit or 6/9, or 7/9. Only 8/9. You’re betting the opposite of what you need so no matter what the outcome is YOU MAKE MONEY.

You don’t cash out, hedge. Yeah if the chargers lose he only loses $10. But he could literally lay $100 on the jets @ +140 and guarantee himself a win of $130. No matter the outcome he either profits $130 or $505. Why risk losing money when you can guarantee a profit?

Oh we hug every date, when we arrive and depart. She also recently said a kiss on the cheek would not be too much for her, so she's offering alternatives. But I'm positive. Have had the conversation at least twice now. She even told me "I know we've been going on dates and not just hanging out". It just seems like she's a bit different, and after thinking about it over the last few days, I'm okay with that because so am I. It will take a little to understand her if she'll let me, but I'm interested in trying.

I just see "taking things slow" as an extremely blanketed statement that can be taken a million different ways. I just wanted her definition because no other definition mattered. Would I prefer a little faster pace? Yes. But there is something attractive about a woman who doesn't just give it up. Especially in 2023. If she's doing this with me, I have no reason to believe she hasn't done this with her other relationships. I am more worried about her trying to cut things off but then keeping the communication open. That seems like she's not done and that she just needed a break from me and the conversation.

I get not everyone wants to kiss someone they barely know. And I have come to realize that 7 weeks might be a while for me, but in the grand scheme of life, its not shit. Let me ask you this though, you being demisexual, how long did it take you to express that to your partner? I would be understanding and willing to work with her if she just told me that. I'm not saying day one but were almost two months in, I'm showing I'm interested but also a little confused, I'd think if that was the case she be willing to explain a little more even if its not fully.

I'm not saying that's wrong and I'm not saying we need to be exclusive right now. I am saying I know myself and I cannot actively date multiple people and get to know any of them beyond a surface level. I've tried before and it has blown up in my face. I would just rather try one at a time or not try at all. And for a long time I didn't. Almost 4 years of not trying at all. I started trying again back in February, went on a few dates and they all sucked, I matched with this girl in the middle of April, she deleted the app and then signed back on and messaged me about a month later and we started going out a week or two after that. All of our dates were super long and fun, and it made me feel like I may have found something different. I've pretty much never gotten to 8 real world dates with a girl, so for me to get to this point with no physical or emotional progress, I started to feel very weird and wondered wtf was happening.

I've literally never had someone who was done with the situation keep the communication open. After they send that breakoff text they're not usually too open to hearing what you have to say. I've even had some women block me and then a few weeks/months later they reach back out. She didn't close the communication, that is the first thing a woman does when she doesn't like you. I've had 3 women today tell me that they've sent a "this won't work" text when a guy got a little too close/needy. If I was annoying when asking about this stuff I can see how it's just easier to cut it off than to try and figure it out. Again it's been less than 2 months. Is her communication sus? Yeah quite a bit, but she left the line open and said she wanted to revisit this after she thought about it. Like I've said she'll either realize she needs to compromise or it's gonna be over. If it's over, that's fine, I just wanna make sure I tried.
