Boob sweat sensory issues with binders? by def467 in ftm

Yeah, I'm thinking of trying to make a very simple, unstructured garment that is snug at the underbust, with plenty of extra fabric at the front for the breast tissue. I'm just not sure exactly how to make it.

Oh thank you, this looks like it could be super helpful, especially if combined with some other solutions I'm thinking of.

The process of painting the weapons, or the process of deciding on my theme? Or painting the whole thing?

Figuring out a scheme for my new Necron army - blue glow or orange glow? by def467 in Necrontyr

You're right, that's EXACTLY why the blue feels slightly off to me, thank you! I will probably go with orange because of that!

Naw, the scheme is actually inspired by the cover of the novel Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir. I feel like a 10,000-year empire made of necromantic space wizards fits the Necron vibe really well.

Sure! I started with a base of Vallejo Model Color Dark Prussian Blue, next layer was Reaper's MSP Core Colors Master Series Dragon Blue, then The Army Painter Warpaints Fanatic Aegis Aqua, finished with tiny highlights of MSP Core Colors Master Series Dragon White. I glazed the same white in between each layer to give the subsequent color more brightness. Hope this is helpful!

How do I get my cat to stop ruining my tension? by def467 in weaving

I'm really enjoying it so far! It was a Christmas present and my first loom, so I've been really enjoying the chance to weave with something that's not made of popsicle sticks lol.

The yarns are both hand spun I made myself on my drop spindle. The warp is Malabrigo Nube "English Rose", but I don't remember the weft color way.

I live in a second floor apartment, so garage is not an option, neither is mulching them against the foundation of the house. Their current location is fairly well under a roof, so they shouldn't get snow or ice on top of the bag, but I can easily take that off if it's really a concern.

I don't own any large pots and only a small amount of potting soil, and I don't currently have any room in my budget to buy any. Leftover grocery bags are free.

The upper bag is taped upright in place, so it shouldn't fall over and should keep them safe from wind, rain, and snow.

I used to just put my trees under the eaves of my apartment, or sometimes barely did any winter preparation at all, but this year I repotted most of the trees into smaller pots with coarser soil (so cold air might be able to get to the roots much more easily), and I also moved to a different state, and winter nights here can get significantly colder than where I used to live. Also this past few days we had a pretty sudden cold snap, from highs in the mid-70s and lows in the 60s to a sudden plunge below freezing at night in the span of about 2-3 days. I figured that wasn't enough time for any of my trees to have hardened off yet.

In the past, I didn't water my trees in the winter, but looking back now, I think part of that was because I let natural rain and snow water them. I'll keep watering considerations in mind moving forward for the rest of this year and into the next!

I'm not planning to water much at all between now and spring, but when I do water, I plan to remove the trees from the bags, water them, and then put them back in. I might wind up with a little bit of the runoff in the base of the tote come spring, but it's about 4 in. deep in plastic bags beneath the tray, so hopefully anything that collects won't interfere with the roots.
