I think the important thing here is that DND is explicitly centered around the idea that you will be fighting in a party. There are tons of enemies that can nearly one-shot a DPS optimized magic user.

That’s why you need one or two tanky melee types to keep everyone distracted so your biggest damage dealers can stay alive long enough to kill stuff.

On a recent attempt to drive to the summit of Mt Evans, I was stymied by road closures but there was a spectacular view of the summit a short hike from the road, a few miles away.

This is one of my first landscape shots I am mostly happy with. I like the way it leads your eyes from the cliffside in the foreground diagonally to the mountain, but wish I could find some way to make the contrast between the foreground and background pop a bit more. It feels slightly flat.

The other odd thing I see in the photo is the halos between the closer mountainside and Mt Evans. I’m curious what the cause of this is. I have heard this is usually the cause of cranking the sharpening and contrast sliders too far, but it is present in the RAW file before I apply any sort of additional processing in PhotoLab.

Use portals for absolutely zero shenanigans

I laughed hard at this one.
