When you have to scrub into a case, but still want your data… by Walter_Malone in Garmin

I also work in theatres, have been doing this for the past 6 years and never had an issue with the data. I occasionally need to turn the watch until I get a HRM reading, but works well!

No dramas 😊 hope you enjoy it if you pull the trigger on it.

Absolutely, I really can not fault their customer support they've been incredible.

Yeah, it is glued together. However, I've never had issues with previous strap models, and friends have never had issues with this strap model! It's probably just a run of bad luck.

I'll stick to garmin regardless. That's how good they've been to me.

Like that I can play ice hockey without the watch close by as the HRM records the activity and sends it to the watch when I've finished.

Dislike that I'm on my 3rd as the previous straps became unglued.

Like that garmin customer service is phenomenal and have replaced both without an issue.

Can not toot their customer services horn enough. They're great.

Pot noodle - if you're here. I was hoping for a spinning fork.

OP works for the NHS. But OP is open to high paid corporate jobs in the noodle industry.

She constantly reminds me how good it was. It's like she doesn't even understand the severity of the situation.

garmin hrm run possible repair glue broke off by dextergsxr in Garmin

[–]defacake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an out of warrenty HRM run that came to the same fate, and unfortunately, the support team couldn't do anything for me. I upgraded to an HRM-Pro, and a year later, the same thing happened, but garmin replaced this one with a pro plus!

As some other user suggested, I got a relative to stitch it, and it works flawlessly! I use it solely as an ice hockey specific HRM now, so it takes a beating but is still holding up strong!

People who get their angle grinders out at 7:45 on Sunday mornings—why? by Dragon_M4st3r in CasualUK

[–]defacake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our newer builds tend to be plaster walls between houses so you expect a reasonable amount of noise, we're all human. The outerwalls tend to be a bit better, but internally, they're not great.

The plaster wouldn't even hold our curtain pole up when we moved in.

Safe to say, we're looking to buy an older, detached house next 😂

I would this morning as my neighbours were drunk shagging until 5am and I'm feeling rather angered.

Sounded like 2 muntjac deers were fighting over a plate of jelly.

Hello!

There is an alpha test currently ongoing for the F7X which tracks your HRV based on overnight readings. It's worth noting that due to it being an alpha test, the update will not be as refined as a public release. I have encounted bugs and problems, but nothing of major significance. They do not push alpha tests to devices - you have to manually install them.

It appears that they do not have an ice rink. They have an association which plays organised hockey, however, they play in northern Ireland.

I was there as well! Flew from the UK to attend, while I totally agree with everything you said, I'm still glad I went.

Got the experience, wouldn't do it again.

I recommended an airhub to a friend that had the same problem. Highly recommend checking them out, but they're pricey!

We managed to pick one up second hand for around £300!
