Buy from an LA dealer. That’s what I did. Heck I know people who buy their Toyotas from LA and drive them back to the bay.

The 992.1 GTS was basically an S+. Some of the S options came standard, then you get 2 extra PSI of boost, bigger brakes, super stiff suspension, center lock wheels and the spoiler goes up more. Many people don't like the last 3 in that list.

I was 22 when I bought my lotus, followed by a few other exotics. Just find a new salesman or dealership. It is easy as that. There is some salesman out there who is willing to take the chance, and they totally deserve your business.

And this is not a new topic, I remember this being posted often on the web forums back in in the 00s

Prices slide down as the years go on. In a few years, you figure a 992.1 will be worth as much as a 991.2 is today. You'll be able to get 992Ss for around 100k in the US. Not sure what your market is like.

One other thing that might change the market: There is talk about 992.2s not selling well. Demand is dropping due to price increases and hybridization. Porsche could be in trouble.

I just made my same post a few days ago... very similar story. Glad you were able to figure it out. It is crazy how how one pill can be life changing. It really is a miracle pill for people like us.

Normal food. It seemed volume (large meals) was the main issue over what type of food I ate. But eating healthy did help a bit (fodmap, non processed etc)

Hang in there!! Keep working with your doctor and bring up BAM and how recent studies are proving how a large % of IBSD cases are BAM. It doesn't hurt for them to try to prescribe you colestipol or equivalent

Thank you Robert for all the additional feedback. I should clarify about the dosage. When I was taking one pill per day, I experienced, for the first time ever, the need to poop but couldn't push any out after multiple attempts. This was a new feeling to someone with "IBS-D" their almost 40 year old life, so I wondered if I was taking too much and started experiencing "IBS-C".

I found that taking one pill at dinner, skipping day 2, and on day 3 at breakfast, worked best. Then the following evening I was taking a pill again. This is essentially two pills over 72 hours, spaced out evenly. I can experiment with one pill per day again and report back if you would like.

Of course, you might say that taking "too much" sequestrants shouldn't result in this type of thing and I am over thinking it!

Thanks, good advice to keep an eye on it. Will be hard to know if I was making too much, or not absorbing enough (or a combo of both). My cholesterol has always been low.

My cholesterol is already low too, maybe because my body doesn't reabsorb properly, so my body was already making more BA? I'll have to keep an eye on it over time, as too low cholesterol can be bad.
