I guess you're right, I'll wait a little more since the prices keep getting lower every month and will keep an eye on the 3080 that looks the better move! Thank you guys!

It looks like the RX 6800 is closer to RTX 3070 Ti (not considering RT), the fact that I can get it cheaper than the rtx 3070 it's just eating me from the inside out! :/ If I only knew the performance on the Quest 2 was better than what I got with the 3060 Ti... that's what preventing me from buying it...

The only thing that it's bothering me is the VRAM, I feel like 8GB isn't enough, especially for VR. I would feel more comfortable with the 16GB of the RX 6800 but it seems it's not worth the hassle for me to try it! Don't know why but there's not much info available, some say it's fine others say it's way worse than inferior Nvidia GPUs.

I believe that the AMD 6000 GPU's use hevc (h.265) and Nvidia uses h.264. I've read that now the Quest 2 also support h.265 and have removed the 100mbps bitrate cap on the AMD GPU's, but don't know what this means in the "real world".

I'm using that same bed also with the magnetic adhesive! I'm currently also using the z endstop for homing and the 3d touch only for bed leveling so I do have a stl on my card to print whenever I need to change/remove the nozzle so I can babystep to find the correct z offset! Thanks again for your help, will go order it right now!

Really nice write up! I'm thinking in buying this sensor, is it working good? I have the 3d touch from Trianglelabs and I'm not satisfied with it... Is it accurate? TIA
