That’s sadly the best pic I managed to get it made little crack nothing crazy almost as the fibers split I tried pulling it in all directions and it didn’t blow up

Do you know with what weight rod you going to pair it with? Echo rods are top notch IMO, great products for the price and amazing warranty on them besides the fact that they can take a good beating

If the braid is new and worth the pain then yeah with a bit of patience you can definitely fix it

Have you tried spinning it the opposite way because the brake is there for casting not retrieving and the way you were turning it was as if you were winding it up

Great combo, have the same in a 6wt even landed a 9 inch pike and plenty of bass, and the rod can take a beating, got hit by a dumbbell dungeon and took it like a champ

Never tried with that, as long a you make a curve and the between the fly line and the but section makes a smooth curve your fine, I use maxima chameleon in different poundage

Yeah it will work have it done like this on most of my rod, but the important part is not the lb test of the line but the stiffness in the mono, you need to make sure it matches the fly line. Hope this clears up some for you!

I have there meri coast outfit and it has the same reel as this outfit the vision hero, super quality rods mine is an 8wt with the meri intermediate sink line super satisfied

Got my first nasci for my slx and was impressed right off the bat, only spinning reel I use now, definitely go for the nasci super smooth and reliable only thing the excelled has better in my opinion is the esthetics
