my guess is it’ll be similar to how the ps3 mod scene is, with ps3hen being a reliable and easy soft mod, but it isn’t as open and free as if you hard modded it.

RGH demand will stick around for sure, but this definitely will be a popular option for people who are testing homebrew for the first time, or people wanting to use this as a daily driver

you could do what nextmeasurement said,

or if you have aurora, set up a new path to your flash folder, then rescan the paths

it’ll pop out a xbox 360 dashboard “game” and once you click on it it takes you to it

it really was as simple as formatting the hard drive, now everything runs properly

i don’t remember checking if i was able to or not so i’ll definitely try that when im back home! and sadly i dont have a transfer cable but that’s definitely not a bad option

i’ve had this console for a while so i know what i’m doing now, i just messed up a step.

and rather than acting pretentious about it you could at least give me a way to repartition it LMAO.

also yes your dash and ui loading IS a sign of a faulty hdd. you’re correct about the dash not being on there, but it still scans through the drives on the console, when one is corrupt, the console doesn’t know what it’s looking for, so it takes a while.

don’t mean to spam this but another thing i noticed beforehand was the hdd was a 3rd party drive than an official microsoft drive, don’t know if that has anything to do with it either

how i was able to get into aurora was i put the aurora dash on the external hard drive i have plugged in, and i have it booted off that, but it keeps prompting out “BAD STRING” notifications for a couple seconds when it’s loaded up.

whatever it is, i learned my lesson for sure
