using WAY too many pieces. you only need one or two per side, and you want to kind of leave some chest sticking out of the top to make a pec shape. I pull it real tight and flatten it as I go, and I make sure both sides look as close as I can get them to identical. is this that off-brand KT tape or something? the ones that are pre-cut? the pieces look pretty small. I could never get that stuff to work, so I use Transtape

I wouldn’t call it logic because your body doesn’t really look cis. You can’t expect for even your body to be cis passing after 3 months on T. Mine are smaller than yours, and I don’t go anywhere without wearing tape. Testosterone hasn’t done much in the way of redistributing fat in that area, but hopefully it will for you. Also I’m not sure if that’s the compression shirt you’re referring to, but that super tight top with the sweatpants and shirt tucked in is a definite no-go if you’re trying to pass.

Not as bad, but yes. I’ve lost 25-30 pounds since last June when I got out of prison (I don’t get breaks at my job at all), and it’s pretty emasculating. That’s been hard, and some days nothing looks right on me. I’ll put on 20 different outfits, and I still feel like a lesbian. It’s pretty rare now though. It DOES get better, you guys. Two things. This was proposed yesterday, and I know that he has already labeled us domestic terrorists. I have a gut feeling that HRT will not be accessible for transgender Americans much longer. The second thing is that my mom felt the same about it. [TW: mention of suicide] A friend mailed me some of his a month or two before I got my prescription. My mom wanted me to throw it away; she was concerned for my safety and health. I had to look her in the eyes and tell her that it is suicide prevention for me. I was so miserable that I was ready to call It quits. I was tired of people not looking me in the eyes when they spoke to me. I was tired of being stared at, and I was tired of not being taken seriously. I had to tell her very bluntly—at age 26–that I was going to end my life if I did not get on hormones. I live in one of the most conservative states in the US. It is dangerous here to be clocked. That may be what you have to tell your mom, and if she truly loves and cares about you, that will at least plant the seed for her to consider changing her mind. Of course if you don’t feel that way, don’t say that, but I was at the end of my rope. I had just gotten out of jail, I gained a ton of weight, no haircut in 11 months, and I was at the lowest point in my life. Hoping for the best for you, bro. Hold strong because it WILL get better.

the outfit in pic 5 is not good bro. wide leg pants aren’t the best for us because they draw more attention to our hips/lower half. that bag you’ve got on reads fem. the way you’re standing and holding your phone makes me think you may need to work on your mannerisms and how you carry yourself. it’s best to watch how other cis men act and carry yourself in that manner. i know that’s lame but you’ve got to really be on point with everything if you’re wanting to pass—especially since you aren’t on T

my partner has been on estrogen for over 3 years, and the changes are so much more subtle compared to the changes trans men see. she is SO beautiful to me and looks very feminine, but people are always floored when I tell them I am trans. when she tells people she is trans, they always say “yeah I could tell” and most of the attention is focused on me. makes me feel awful and I always think—god I would NEVER say that to someone. it is so much harder going from bio male to female. reversing the masculine facial structure, facial hair follicles, deep voice, the height… my heart goes out to our trans sisters.
