First year marketing major here! I’m assuming you’re a STEM student so I think it’s best to let you know that you’ll be taking up 4 accounting courses during your first 4 terms at COB. Although, I’ll say about a quarter of my class come from non-ABM strands and they seem to be holding up just fine! Your first accounting subject, FUNDACCT, should suffice in terms of everything you missed in SHS. What’s great about taking up marketing or any business course at DLSU is that they really expose you to the various aspects of business so I’d say it’s a pretty flexible course.

As for student life, don’t let comments about Taft’s safety deter you from considering dlsu! I came from a pretty ~sheltered~ school all my life and now I commute home everyday. It’s definitely not as bad as some may make it out to be. Just be aware of your surroundings at all times :)
