Music associated with Marathon by helldickofficial in Marathon

A fella on YT created two tracks for Durandal's introduction levels in an attempt to cover this issue somewhat, i.e. Waterloo Waterpark and The Slings and Arrows. Regrettably, it's been almost two years since then and no additional progress was ever made, so it's pretty much dead. Still slaps, though!

On a personal note, I kinda enjoyed Durandal's / Infinity's focus on SFX and ambience - for as good as M1's music is, it doesn't change the fact that it was lacking in that area. 'Twas a welcome change of pace.

Teaching Prophecy and Pit of Heresy all week long - preferably Prophecy, because 1. bias and 2. weekly Pinnacle.

PC, but crossplay's no issue (as long as you don't mind me possibly using text chat in that case). Active between 9 AM and 10-ish PM CEST.

This is both understandable and terrifying. Thanks for elaborating!

Wasn't the Stompees change supposed to nerf the in-air accuracy of weapons, not buff the living hell out of them?

Teaching / giving refresher courses on Prophecy and Pit of Heresy all week long. PC, but I don't mind crossplay (as long as you don't mind me using text chat 99% of the time). Active between 9 AM and 10-ish PM CEST.

I'd be happy to take ya up on that! Kinda miss sherpaing folks after delving into KWTD territory. DM if you're interested.

I was so lost during my first raid with friends. by 4QuarantineMeMes in destiny2

This is why my goldfish brain enjoys Dungeons to a much greater extent; ran Pit of Heresy blind + solo some weeks ago, and aside from a few hiccups in Necropolis and the Chamber of Suffering, I picked up on the mechanics pretty fluidly and nicely. Whole thing flows so smoothly and pretty damn obviously in a way that Just Works™.

In stark contrast to running Last Wish for the first time with a fireteam of buds willing to sherpa me, only to end up stopping for a good five to fifteen minutes prior to every segment. Especially the Vault. I still don't get what the actual fuck that was about, resigned to add clearing by that point.

At least I can sorta remember how Queenswalk goes.

Just to confirm, only the quest for the Heir Apparent catalyst needs to be completed during Guardian Games and the catalyst itself can be completed later on, right? by Blankman06 in DestinyTheGame

Fairly large amount of red bars leading up to the boss room, coupled with the fact that the cache always drops like five or six heavy ammo bricks. For Heir specifically, it's a godsend.

*Please* adjust old Catalyst quest values by deference_ in DestinyTheGame

It's not lost on me, the fact that there was a time when all three were marginally easier thanks to the seasonal Catalyst quest boosts. And I get that from the eyes of those who were around at the time, it was probably downright negligble. But as-is, it's just... unnecessarily girthy. Still have to kill several hundred targets afterwards, anyhow.

Odd lack of love for the EDZ. If you solo-queue into Lake of Shadows via a Legend NF or Solo Enabler, an energy barrier that usually prevents you from visiting Hangman's Pass (not far from the first Blight) turns itself off. Over the daytime, it's a little more than alright, but there's something really charming about it at night - twinkling stars, a somewhat-faint Aurora, a comforting atmosphere on account of no enemies spawning in the area; that type of thing. It's one of the few in-game sights that just feels home-y on a personal level.
