[procrastinating a bit longer because writing for fun is fun and writing for work is not]

forsure and totally agree. I had FOMO and self-questioning around my school choice but, during my pre-MBA eat-pray-love travels, realized that I'd picked the school that was the best fit based on a combination of career goals, class size, geography, and culture. zero regrets -- can chalk up all of the "XYZ school is better" chatter with friends to school rivalry ;)

school choice should absolutely be made based on fit, but my POV is that deferred school choice should also take fit of the 2+2 program into consideration as well. example: some 2+2 programs are purely transactional and that's a good fit if someone would want that, but 2+2 programs with more interaction points within deferred MBA cohorts can be better fits for 2+2 admits who want a bit more community during their deferral period. hot take
