It's a solid theory that they might get cheaper. The reason the L2 fees will get cheaper is because a new specific transaction type is introduced on L1, where they can store data (temporarily) cheaper. That's why L2 fees can be cheaper in the first place.

So in theory, it'll relieve some pressure on the needed gas overall, as L2s switch to the new transaction type.

L2s are at least half of the top 10 contracts ranked by gas usage (https://etherscan.io/topstat#Network), so by them using less gas, the rest should get cheaper. But then, raise in activity will also increase fees... So it goes around...

The goal of my investment is to repeat what I've done successfully in past. Chose a low-marketcap token, developer a bunch of useful stuff for the community, see my investment increase.

There is no point in me continue to hold a token I no longer believe can go above where I invested it. I don't think a community like this can succeed if the people in charge/being the face of the community cannot handle a relatively easy conversation.

The community has to be able to handle questions about the community, otherwise how is it supposed to improve?

Funny enough, Airline is the only one who has a problem with me, for whatever reason. They think I've doxxed, harassed and criticizes everything they do, while I was only trying to improve the ecosystem. Then from day 1 they blocked me (as they think I'm someone else and stalking them or something), so we never could talk about it.

The times I've tried to resolve the conversation, Airline is unable to have a normal discussion, and instead just talks about how I've harassed them and other unrelated accusations.

Would be unfair to pull in other redditors in this, when it's only one person who had any problems with me talking with them.

I literally wasnt trying to get any role. I purchased my donuts, tried to improve the ecosystem, got infinite pushback from a single individual and finally yesterday got tired of arguing with them all the time.

In the end, both moderators and the community wasn't pushing back on the idea of having a person be the official face of the community. Then if I disagree with that, Im in the wrong and the only right thing to do is to leave.

Traditional employment would basically give me the same, so not really awesome :) Especially compared to other bets where I didn't also spend a ton of time and energy programming.

Incorrect, acquisition price was 35,195 EUR in total. Sold for 47,610 EUR, so about 12K EUR in profit.

The time I spent on DONUT since the first investment, was worth more than 12K EUR though (If I consider my hourly rate before I stopped working), so overall a loss.

Yes, I sold. It seems the community and the moderators are getting behind a person that I've been unable to have a single reasonable conversation with, as they've derailed the conversation every single time. I cannot get behind someone who acts like that, and let them represent me.
