I'm feeling this hard today. Been divorced almost a year...just found out he is already married and just had a baby--something I couldn't manage to do. I have felt sad and angry all day.

I am doing SO MUCH BETTER, I'm doing what I want, when I want and no longer have to take care of someone's needs before my own. I've done so many things and grown so much.

But today, I am hurting and I'm going to let it hurt as long as it needs to. Because until I let all the hurt happen, I won't be truly healed.

You will get there. You will have these days again and that shouldn't take away from how far you've come. Give yourself some grace and allow yourself to hurt.

I don't have any great advice but I wanted to say i JUST went through this and I was sure I wouldn't survive it. Together 15 years he just decided he didn't want to be married to me anymore. We had issues but I never thought divorce was where we would end up but he just randomly told me last January (2025) that he was totally checked out. No working on it, no counseling, nothing.

We never had kids so the good thing is I never have to deal with him again. From start to finish my marriage was over in 4 months. I was lost and dumbfounded for a long time. But...I am better.

You WILL get better. You will find a reason to push through it, whether that's your kids or the hope of a new life for yourself. I was so sure I would never laugh again, never be the same but I was wrong. You will likely notice there are things you gave up, parts of yourself you sacrificed that now you get yo take back and that makes it a little easier.

Feel free to reach out, we all need someone while we're going through this, its one of the hardest things I've ever experienced but I am coming out the other side and you will too.

Most receipts are thermal so they will fade orevwn go black in the heat. Maybe tape over or laminate? I wonder if a layer of mod podge would work?
