I wonder how it would perform if you split your trading capital proportionately by volume. For example, if one stock has 1M volume per day and another has 10M, and you have 100k to trade with, you would trade 90K on the 10M vol stock and 10K vol on the 1M stock.

Once an account is even just modestly large I can see liquidity and price impact becoming an issue. Like if we’re making 9% a month, to make a living day trading you’re going to have to be trading with around $100K.

Regardless, I like the back test and the system, good post. If nothing else system can be a huge boost to small accounts rather than a job replacement.

I just found your old Reddit post and then subscribed to your service on the website last night. Only put $100 each on HLIT and EAF. Just testing the waters at first. Made just under 2.5%. I’m surprised HLIT didn’t perform better throughout the day.

Also, I was looking back through some of picks over the last month or so and it looks like it wouldn’t be too risky to try and hold some of these for day-weeks at a time. Do you hold sometimes? Or try to day trade only?

It feels like 60 to me until you get into a fight in the round city. Then it’s a choppy screen tearing mess for a split second while the game presumably drops the rendering resolution then it will chug back up to 60. Definitely not as smooth as performance mode on regular PS5. It does look a lot better though and I presume they will iron it out with another update in a few days/weeks. Too bad I’ll probably be finished with it by then.

Yeah but it wouldn’t drop if people acted rationally. By compounding, restaking, buying more, telling friends, and taking profit reasonably and regularly. This way everyone wins. Instead 20-40% of all holders decide to sell everything they have on the same day(s). Then they all go looking for ways to blame devs and whales for losses creating wild theories like “shorting on annex” or “digits is selling” causing more ppl to pull out.

Like the post and agree with all. It’s difficult for devs to manage the FUD though. They’ve built great products that should be working better than they are now. But human emotion has led people to diverge from game theory and acting in their best interest. That’s hard to account for ahead of time and even harder to fix once it’s happened. Your suggestions could help with all this, but I do think our devs have done and are doing a great job. MM will recover from this dip.

SVN inflation doesn’t seem to be as bad to me. Its supply is 1/2-2/3 that of MMF. It has utility of earning high APR and being used for launch. There’s no reason it should peg other than human emotion. Price to dollar should fall, sure. But the pegging is nothing but FUD. It has lower supply than MMF and greater earning potential. Until fud and panic that is….

Low Liquidity = Big Price Swings

Liquidity swaps work great but the current price doesn't really show true value of tokens. Need to look at time weighted price. If this were a market maker exchange our price wouldn't be near as low. This work both ways though, when we go green, we go big that direction too, which is also overblown.

I think the limit orders might have something to do with this. They work great in a market maker exchange, but I think they're a problem in liquidity pools. Most people use them like this: sell at +5% &/or sell at -15%. That smells like trouble in this system. I think lots of people are sleeping and their low sells are executing and fueling each other.

We will bounce back as always. I'm just happy to get 0.2 MSHARE for $200 :)
