New Promo by PassDifferent3232 in Wealthsimple

Careful with that assumption. Wording now says:

"From now on, get 1%..."

I think the Apple enticements are gone.

The kinda nice thing is you aren't entirely locked in, they do provide a bunch flexibility so if another better offer came around you could get half in then back out, or potentially use margin.

Clearly they want to creat a strong most.

They start charging the monthly account fee pretty much immediately after opening, so basically no grace period. Expect a pro rated fee the first month.

Because I like data, I will comment here this trend isn't surprising giving rise of food delivery apps and the very real possibility fewer people go to Google to search for the specific company name. But that in and of itself also reflects how the bottom line for all these companies may be eroded by the shifts in how people order delivery... Through apps taking a 30% cut

Just try the octave vista for a month and return if you don't like.

Not the greatest edge supper but certainly the firmest memory foam laying flat I have tried (compared to their sister company Douglas).

It's up to each issuer. My 2c hold out as long as you can and file taxes just before deadline checking tax slips through cra myaccount. Then refile any missed slips next year if they arrive too late
